Chapter 2

Cameron's pov
  I'm so excited to have a daughter. I really do think I'm responsible enough to take care of Morgan.
  Matt was driving so I texted the guys in a group chat.
Convo:
Tin Can Dallas: Guys I just adopted a little girl named Morgan. Can you guys go and get some stuff for her room??
JJ: Congrats bro!
Lox: Yass another girl
Shawny Boy: I bet she is adorable
Trash Nash: Congrats!!! How old is she and what's her favorite color.
Tin Can Dallas: She is eight let me ask her what her fav color is.
"Hey Morgan what is your fav color?"
"Cyan blue or Electric Blue." "Ok."

Trash Nash: Ok I'm going to get some paint
Mr. Carpenter: I'm going to grab some furniture
Gilinsky: Jack and I are coming Aaron
Mr. Carpenter: ok meet me at the furniture place
Lox: I will go get her clothes!!!

Whitesides: Me too!
Tin Can Dallas: Grab some wood letters for her name
JJ: Got it

"So Morgan what do you like to do." I asked so I could start a conversation. "Um, I like to color and paint." "That's cool. Did you make art while in the orphanage?" "For awhile I did until the other kids took my crayons, paper, and paint from me." "Why were they mean to you," Matt asked "I don't know. I never did anything to them." I looked back and saw a tear was dripping from her eye. I reached back and tried to wipe it from her eye. She flinched and started to cry even more. "Please don't hurt me." "I'm not Princess I would never." "That's what they all say." "Why do you say that?" "Can we just stop talking about this now?" "Sure anything for you Princess."
Matt's pov
  I felt so bad after Cam tried to wipe Morgan's tears away and she didn't let him. "Hey Morgan are you hungry?" "Not really." "Are you sure Princess? We could stop and get you some Taco Bell." "What is Taco Bell?" "You have never had Taco Bell," I asked really surprised. No kid should have to deal with that. Nope never. "We are going. No kid should go without never trying Taco Bell in their life."
Morgan's pov
  I didn't want the boys to think I was fat so I told them I wasn't hungry even though I haven't eaten all day. Matt I think that's his name was so surprised when he heard I have never had Taco Bell.
  We pulled up to this purple building that had a sign that had a bell on it. This must be Taco Bell. When we got inside Matt and I went to find a place to sit while Cameron went to order our food. Cameron came back with our food after about 10 minutes of waiting.
I was really hungry but I didn't want the guys to think I was fat. "Princess you haven't touched your food." Cameron said looking at me with concern. "I'm not hungry." When I said that my stomach growled. "Princess I just heard your stomach." "I swear I'm not hungry." "Please eat princess."
"Fine."
Cameron's pov
I'm worried about Morgan she claimed she wasn't hungry but then her stomach grumbled. What was wrong with her? Did she feel uncomfortable eating in front of us? Is she starving herself? Why would an 8 year old want to starve herself?
When Morgan took her first bite of her taco her eyes lit up with joy. "Do you like it princess?" Matt asked while laughing. "I don't like it." When she said that Matt's smile went into a frown. "I love it!" "You had me worried for a second little Dino."
"Why am I a little Dino." "Since we are going to be best friends until the end and you're going to be little Dino and I'm going to be big Dino." "Oh ok." "Ok princess it's almost time to go so finish your taco and then we can bring your juice with us." "Ok Cam."
Morgan's pov
I finished my food and then we left. After about 20 minutes passed while we were in the car until we pulled up to this big house. I climbed out of the car by myself. And followed behind Matt. "Wow is this your house." "No princess this is 'our' house." Cam said while opening the door. When I walked in a lot of people jumped from behind the couch and screamed "SURPRISE." I was really overwhelmed at the moment so I didn't say anything. This guy with blue eyes came and picked me up, "Hi Morgan." I started crying hysterically. "Nash put her down!" Cameron yelled Nash hurriedly put me down. "I'm so sorry Cam I don't know what I did." Matt walked up to me "Come on Morgan let's get you in bed. Follow me." We began walking upstairs away from everyone.
Cameron's pov
"Guys I left out some major details about Morgan." "What are they Cam?" Lox asked "Guys Morgan is afraid of thunder and lightning, small spaces, and being touched by people that she doesn't know very well. So we have to wait a couple of days until she warms up to us." "Has she let you touch her yet?" "Nope earlier I tried to wipe a tear off of her eye and she wouldn't let me. She started crying harder and pleaded for me not to hurt her." After I said that a tear slipped from my eye. "Aww Cam." Lox said coming up to me and giving me a hug. "She hasn't called me dad yet either." At that point I broke down. "Cam go get some rest ok." "Ok." I walked upstairs and into my room to see Matt about to walk out. "Are you ok buddy?" "Yeah." "Ok." He said unsure. He walked out when I noticed that Morgan was in my bed fast asleep. I slipped in beside her and just looked at her. She opened her eyes and looked at me. "Are you ok?" I guess I was still crying. "Yeah princess go back to bed." She did something that really surprised me. She wiped away my tears. "Good night princess." "Goodnight Dad." She just called me dad.
