It was Aquarius's first day of school, again. She has moved schools since she was in grade 1.
She woke up as usual and got dressed listening to music on the radio. She put on a blue tank top with an ocean on it. Then she put on some blue jean shorts, since it was September, she could still wear shorts. She brushed her brown hair quickly and parts it to the left so no one can see her blue strip in her hair.
She takes a deep breath and walks to the steps to go downstairs.
She made her lunch the night before so she didn't have to make this morning.
She grabbed her blue backpack. It had the Aquarius sign on the side pocket. On the zippers there were blue sparkling beads hanging on the zippers.
She packed all her books and binders into her bag, puts her phone in her shorts back pocket, said goodbye to her mom, and left for the bus.
"I wonder how chaotic the bus will be." Aquarius thought.
After about 5 minutes the bus finally comes. She steps on and looks around. As usual people were throwing things at each other. There was one seat not taken. The front one, opposite the one behind the driver.
"How can she drive this thing?" Wondered Aquarius.
After a good 10 minutes or so, they arrived at school. It was called Bay Leaf High School. She thought it was a better name then some of the schools she's been to.
But, Aquarius had some time to spare, so she went over to the near by tree and sat down. She looked around and looked at all the different kinds of people. The jock's, the cheerleaders, the popular girls and boys. Some were kissing or playing soccer.
A soccer ball roll's it's way over to Aquarius. She quickly gets up and does some knee and feet kicks. The boys see her.
"Come and play with us." One offered.
"No, thanks. I'm good." Aquarius replies.
"You sure?" He asked again. This boy had jet black hair and bright blue eyes. He wore jeans and a blue t-shirt with a leather jacket.
"I'm sure." Aquarius said.
"Well...okay then. I'm Justin Valdez by the way." He says, introducing himself.
"A-Aquarius." She said, stuttering a bit.
"Well, see you later?" He asked.
"Maybe." She answered, a little annoyed. But felt something for him.
Justin took the ball and jogged back over to his friends. They huddled up and laughed, Justin and the other guys would look at Aquarius sometimes, but then someone else came over.
"Hey. Do you know who that guy is?" She asked.
"No. All he said his name was Justin." She answer, looking at her book.
"Well, you should be careful around him. He's not that good of a guy." She said.
"Okay." Aquarius simply said.
"I'm Hazel by the way. Hazel Sargent." She said.
"Aquarius." Now annoyed.
"Cool. Like the zodiac sign. Well, see you later." She hopped onto her feet and walks to her group of friends.
Finally the school bell rang and she quickly packs her bag and walks the main office.
She talks to the principal and he takes her to her first class. Which was physical education. AKA gym. They walked into the gym and Aquarius meets the teacher, Mr. Peter's. He told Aquarius to change and she did. It took about 2 minutes then she was introducing herself to the female gym class.
