Blaire

Just as the sun was rising, I finished packing the last box and with a puff I put it near the door. I looked around my bedroom. It gave my heart a heavy and sad feeling but I know this move would do me and my mom good. We could extend our knowledge and make a new memories. The last thought put a smile on my face. We both could finally let go of everything that was holding us back here.

The doorbell interrupted my thoughts. It's probably the people who would help with moving. These past days I gathered a lot of things so I could give it to charity but there were also a few things I wanted to sell. I walked down stairs and looked through the peephole. You never know, it's better to be safe. It indeed were the people who would help me so I opened the door.

"Hello, I'm Blaire. Thank you for helping me," I said while giving each of them a handshake. There were with a total of four persons.

"Hello miss, we should be thanking you for your generosity. It's amazing how you're giving all of this to our charity. Thank you," the one with dark hair said. He later introduced himself as Jacob and the others as Jim, Domenico and Paul.

We soon quickly got to work and put most of the boxes in the moving truck. I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 1 in the afternoon and I had to catch a plane at 10 o'clock in the evening. There was more than enough time to finish this.

"Let's take a break and eat some lunch, guys. We've worked hard for these past hours." They agreed with me.

Since I packed everything, I couldn't cook anything so we ordered some pizza's. Who said you can't eat pizza for lunch, right? We joked around while eating. Suddenly Paul made a joke that nearly made me choke on my pizza.

"I bet you're moving because of some crazy stalker." He said this in a joking and lightly way but it felt like someone just pinched. I know Tane wasn't really a stalker but he did leave roses and notes everywhere. I guess the guys noticed my somber mood because they soon stopped laughing.

"Wait you're not really being stalked right? We could do something about it, if you want to. There's no need to move to another entire place for this person." Jacob said and the others agreed with him. These kind words made me smile. It's amazing how these guys who I just met a few hours made me feel like I was worth of something.

"Thank you guys but there's nothing to be worried about. It's not because of a stalker. I just needed something new." I didn't want explain anything further so I stood up and asked them if they wanted to continue, which they agreed to.

After a few hours we were done with everything and they even helped me ship some of the boxes I was taking with me to the United Kingdom. It was soon time for me to go to the airport and they had to leave anyway.

"I just wanted to thank you for helping me and you were such great company." I gave them all a hug. At moments like I was reminded of how I didn't have any friends. No, now is not the time to dwell on the past.

It was time to board the plane. London, here I come.

Tane

I didn't get any calls from Lewis these past few days so I decided to call him myself but he didn't pick up. That was strange, he always woukd pick up.

Maybe it's because he's also done with you.

I shook my head to get this thought out of my mind.

F*cking Lewis. I paid him to do a job, which he couldn't even properly do. I decided the check up on the girl myself. I grabbed my coat and headed towards my car. I got in and drove off.

After a few minutes I arrived at her place but looking at the house, it gave me a empty feeling. Why are the lights out? Did something happen? I'm probably overthinking this. She must be sleeping. I slammed my hands on the steering wheel. Why did I even care about this girl? There was nothing special about her.

You know that's not true.

I let out a sigh before I got out of my car. I looked at my watch and saw that it was 9 o'clock in the evening. She should be home.I admired her house while walking towards the frontdoor. It gave a persong this cozy feeling but with all the lights off in this darkness of the night, it missed that feeling. Why am I here again?

Because you're worried about her.

This girl was driving me insane even since I met her I've been feeling almost guilty, which I never do, and I've been having these conversations in my mind like a pyscho.

Before I could knock on the door, a voice behind me stopped.

"Oh the family Marston doesn't live here anymore. They just moved today." I turned so quickly that I almost give myself a whiplash.

"What do you mean they moved?" I probably scared the old woman with my tone but I could care less about that right now. She couldn't have possibly moved right?

"I'm sorry son," with those words she left.

I was left feeling like I couldn't breath anymore. It felt my lungs were filled with water. It dawned on me what I actually did.

I hurt her.

She probably left because of me.I went back home with the feeling of guilt and shame filling my body.
