-Jason-

I looked up and see a tall, familiar man. It took me a while to finally remember that monstrous face.

Connor.

The thoughts and flashbacks the sight of seeing him give me are horrific.

"Take her to... my room" he said with a great grin plastered onto his face.

What did he mean?

Then I saw two guys walking towards us.

Once in front of us, they pulled me away from Lexi. I fought to get her back in my arms. I struggled against their grasp, as if my life depended on getting out of their grip.

Then, one of them let go of me, picked up Lexi and slung her over her shoulder as if she was just a doll.

"JASON!" She screamed. "Help me!" She said, quietly. I could tell how scared she was in that moment. I pleaded for this guy to let me go and for the other to bring Lexi back to me. However, they didn't have any of it.

"Mason" Connor said, getting the guys attention. I took that as a chance. I raised my fist and smacked him straight in the face.

Blood started dripping as he clutched his nose. I shook my hand because it slightly hurt. I swear his face was made out of steel or something.

I began to charge towards Connor, ready to beat the shit out of him.

I reach into my pocket to get my gun, but it's not there. "FUCK" I shout.

"Looking for this?" Connor says. Holding my small black pistol. More anger just boiled inside me.

I charged at him, but he reacted quickly.

The next thing I knew, my body falls to the floor and my leg is pouring with blood.

The images of seeing Lexi struggle against that guys grip flashed through my mind. I can't back down. I need to help her and keep her safe.

I wished that Shawn and the others knew where we were and would come. However I knew that wouldn't happen. We had been here for 2 days now.

Finally, Connor left the room. I could still feel the bullet would in my leg. It wasn't a strong gun so it hadn't gone all the way through. It was just a small thing to slow down anyone that could be after me. It wasn't for killing. I had my other guns for that.

I know what I had to do and I also knew it was going to fucking sting.

I ripped off the arm of my t-shirt and then ripped out a strip. I then placed it on the ground next to me.

Then I slowly lowered my arm
towards the leg and stuck my fingers inside the wound. It wasn't the worst pain I'd felt. I felt around for the bullet and finally managed to pull it out.

I threw the small piece of metal into the ground and picked up the strip of t-shirt. I wrapped it around my leg as tight as I could.

I struggled to my feet and hobbled over to the door, determined to get to Lexi and help her. I needed to know she's okay. I know what Connor is capable of and the thoughts of him doing anything to her makes me feel sick. I can't let him hurt her.

-4 years previous-

I was going to take Jess on a date tonight. To the cinema and then to a restaurant, which wasn't cheap. I even had to pay just to make the reservation. But I didn't care. Money wasn't a worry for me, because my family were basically rich.
