~A week later~

-Jason-

"Hey, Shawn, can you do me a favour?" I asked my best mate. Andrew and Thomas were both very close friends of mine, but no one could ever replace Shawn. He was my main brothers. He was the only person I trusted. I loved him, just as I would a brother. He has always respected me and never done anything to lose my trust.

"Of coarse man, what's up?"
"Well actually, it's not you I need to do the favour, it's Emma"

"Okay, what is it?"
"I need her to take Lexi shopping. I'll give her some money but she doesn't have any clothes and I'm sure she's getting sick of wearing mine. After all, she still hates me" I explained. "She needs to find someone she can relate to, be comfortable around, someone she can trust. I know that person won't be me, at least not yet."

"Sure man, I'm sure it would be no problem"
"You're a lifesaver, cheers bro"
"You're welcome"

I walked out of the room with my head held high and a big grin planted across my face. Maybe if Lexi knows that I'm doing this for her, she will realise that I really do love her.

"Wait, Jason?" I head Shawn call me back.
"Yeah?"
"When would you want this to take place?"
"Next week or the following week sometime, when she's fairly used to this place"

"Alright dude, do you want Emma to introduce her self and become close with her first?"
"Yeah, that would be great. Get her to pop over when she's free?"
"Will do"

With that I left their house and walked back over to my car. I headed home with a smile. I felt a sense of happiness grow inside me. Maybe things would get better now.

As I was driving home, I noticed a few police cars around the place. I had to slow down. After a while of the traffic I started getting impatient and angry.

I grabbed my pot of pills that helped my anger, swallowing it with a large gulp from my water bottle.

Suddenly a heard a fair knock on my window, I slowly turned my head and saw a police officer at my window, so I lowered it.

"Hello officer, how may I help you?"
"Have you seen this girl?" He asked. Showing me a picture of Lexi. In the photo, she was smiling. She looked happy.

I remember that photo being taken. It was a couple of weeks before her dad had passed away. They were celebrating her mums birthday.

I quickly shook my thoughts away, remembering I was being questioned by an officer. "No, I don't think I have, sorry to waste your time" I said, smiling sweetly.
"Okay, if you ever see or hear anything of her, you know what number to dial"
"Sure thing" I said.

I quietly sniggered to myself, thinking about how me and Lexi would be having an amazing future together.

"Something funny?" The officer asked me. Oh shit. I forgot he was there. "No, nothing for you to worry about" I said. He eyed me suspiciously but then waved me off to carry on driving. So I did just that.

I parked up my car and walked inside our home.

I saw a worried Dan, Tyler and Matty sitting on the sofa. They were all members of our gang. A few of my closest friends.
