Chapter 22

-Jason-

I awoke to the sound of birds chirping outside, a sound I grew to enjoy, only because it resembled morning, and I loved waking up every morning, next to her.

I looked across at Lexi, we were both still completely naked. As I remembered the events of last night, a huge smile spread across my face. It was the best night of my life.

Suddenly, I remembered... we hadn't used protection. I started to worry a little bit, but I knew we would just go to the pharmacy and get the morning after pill so I didn't let it worry me too much.

Part of me didn't want to do that, though. Part of me wanted to start a family with her. To move far away from here and have everything I've always wanted. But that wasn't really an option at this point in time.

"Good morning, handsome"
I smiled upon hearing her voice. "Morning my angel" I replied. She cuddled into me tighter and planted a soft kiss on my cheek. I turned my head towards her and kissed her. We shared a soft, sweet kiss.

"Lexi?"
"What's wrong?" She said, she could tell something was bothering me. That's another thing I loved about her but also hated, she could always tell when something was wrong.
"We didn't use protection last night, but it's okay, I'll take you to the pharmacy soon."
"Okay baby."

She planted another soft kiss, this time on my forehead. "Do you ever think about us having a family?" I asked her.
"Of coarse I do."
"Is now to soon to do that?"
"I don't know, I'd say so yeah"
"Okay."
"Why's that?"
"I just wondered. Part of me wants to start it now."
"We couldn't bring a child into this world with the type of things were involved with, Jason."

I stood up and walked over to the wardrobe, grabbing a 2 pairs of shorts and a t-shirt. I put a pair of shorts on, Then I gave the other pair and the top to Lexi to put on. "I know that, but.."
"But what?"
"I don't know"

I looked around the room, and smirked to myself as I saw both our towels chucked on the floor. I chucked my arms around Lexi and pulled her into a cuddle, kissing her softly.

Wow, I really was a lucky man. At first, I thought I would never see this day. I thought things would have turned out so differently. I thought she would always hate me. But I wasn't going to give up and fuck I'm glad I didn't. Lexi is my life, my soul mate. I think I want to propose to her. Not just yet, though. When this is over, with the Guafans. When they finally leave.

What if they find us, though? What if everything goes wrong.

Again, we were sat round the same table of the same night club where we were when this all started. It had been 3 months now since the Guafans came. The reason we were here again is because they finally, had left. They stayed a lot longer than expected but at least they were finally gone. We can go back to how things were.

-Lexi-

I looked down at Jason as he laid with his head on my chest. He was the most beautiful person I'd ever seen. It was pretty messed up, how we got here today. But, I'm in love with him. And he has given me happiness. It's been nearly 2 and a half years since I first met Jason. I was so scared back then. But now I couldn't imagine my life without him. It's crazy. Emma was right, though.

"How do you feel about a holiday?" Jason asked me, a massive grin plastered across his face.
"What sort of holiday?"
"Hot, sunny, beaches, all of that"
"I think it would be amazing"

Then Jason grabbed his laptop from under his bed and we began looking at holidays together. Of coarse, Jason was looking at the most expensive ones. One of the places he clicked onto caught my eye with such amazement. It's own hot tub, on suite, the place was decorated perfectly. Jason took longer too look at this one than he did the others. "How about this?" He asked me.
I nodded my head like a kid does for sweets. "I absolutely love it" and with that he started booking the holiday. It came to nearly £3500 and it was self catered. Jason was a great cook and he told me he would be cooking most nights, which I really looked forward too. He never really cooked too often. But when he did, it was amazing.

We heard someone come through the front door and a few minutes later Shawn and Emma burst into the room and jumped onto the bed, right on top of Jason. Luckily they missed me, it looked like it hurt. We all laid there and burst into laughter.

"Me and Lexi have just booked a holiday"
"Ooooh, where too?" Cooed Emma.
"Greece"
"Wow, romantic getaway or what"
"Yeah, you guys should come too!"
"I don't know, could the rest handle it without all four of us here?" Replied Shawn
"Of coarse they can. It's only a week"

And then Emma grabbed the laptop which was still on the same page for the place we had booked. "We're going" she said giggling and began booking the same for her and Shawn. I looked at her and laughed. I was already looking so forward to this, even though it was a couple months away yet.

"Would you look at that, the cabin right next to yours is free"

We were all moved into the living room and began watching a movie. It was a horror and I wasn't too keen on them. At every scary part I cling onto Jason like a little pansy. Every-time I felt him smile and clutch onto me a little tighter to comfort me.

I reached up and planted a small kiss onto his lips, turns out he wasn't having just a small kiss. He roughened the kiss and began squeezing my thigh, not too hard but just enough to make me feel things. Then I felt his husky whisper
"I could destroy you right now"
Thrills ran through my body as I felt goosebumps raise everywhere.

"Oi you two, were trying to watch the movie here!"
"Sorry" He replied and we both snickered and then carried on watching the movie. I punched Jason in the leg playfully. He looked at me and whispered "sorry" with a wink.
"Yeah, you will be later" I winked back to him and bit my lip.

Me, Jason and the rest of the gang were all in the kitchen. I say 'gang' like I'm part of it. Which I'm not, well I don't class myself as part of it anyway. Kind of like Sophie. But at the same time we're both a little bit involved. I mean, we both know everything that goes on but we don't always go everywhere and do the things they do.

Jason finally told everybody that we were going on holiday in just over a month.
"Thanks for our invite" Matty joked.
"It's a romantic get away Mat, do you guys really want to be 3rd wheeling?"
"I guess not" he laughed.

Sophie started swinging on her chair and after a few minutes it toppled backwards. Luckily Tyler was stood behind her and she didn't fall back, that would have hurt a lot.
