Snow didn't know what to expect as she stood outside of the nearest McDonalds. There weren't that many people in there- which was strange since it was six pm- but Snow sighed and walked in, shoving her hands into the pockets of her jeans. She was hungry anyway.
Her gaze wandered until she found a group in the corner, with one boy looking suspiciously like Mavon who was waving almost erratically at her. Oh hell to the fuck no. There were six of them- nearly all the Seven were there; Mavon, Abel, Felix, Dominic, Tanner and Cohen. All ridiculously good looking and too wealthy to be real.
Although, Snow's father's net worth was on the same level as theirs so, who was she to talk?
"Snow! Over here!"
Snow sighed and walked over slowly, not liking the looks she was getting from everyone in the diner. On Monday no doubt, there would be rumours about a large orgy involving her and the Seven.
Dominic- jock and resident brawn of the group- pulled up a chair for her after giving a look to a couple of teen boys. She took the seat and sat, eyes on the ceiling.
"We aren't gonna bite"
Snow scoffed and looked at Abel, who licked his lips. "I've heard more than enough to know that horny mess enjoys it"
Dominic held back a chuckle and Abel raised a brow. "You heard the rumours?"
Snow shrugged. "Nope. I've heard you and just about every girl in our grade fraternizing in Art Room B." She picked her nails. "You use the same pick up line. Next time, shock me- say something intelligent"
Mavon guffawed, and Felix who sat in the corner with a physics book actually looked up. He adjusted his glasses- looking the new girl over. "Oh. Hi Snow"
Snow gave him what might have been a smile, and nodded. "Felix"
"You guys know each other?" Dominic was surprised Felix even said hello. "Eh. Now, what did you want, and where's my dinner?"
Mavon rolled his eyes, jerking his head for an annoyed Abel to go and order. "I'll get right to the point. We want you to be part of the Seven"
Snow raised her brows. "I thought you could count. If you include me, there would be eight"
Tanner shook his head, amusement glistening in his eyes. He was almost sad he was leaving- this girl seemed funny. "Nah, I'm leaving at the end of this week. Brutus wants a replacement"
"I don't need a sausage party"
Dominic laughed, "There are certain benefits to this arrangement"
"I'm not a whore, contrary to popular belief" Snow deadpanned, earning a few looks. Mavon sighed and held up a hand. "Just let me get to the end of this okay?"
After a few moments she nodded.
"My brother, Brutus, wants the Seven to maintain a wholesome front- and since Tanner is leaving, we need someone on par with us to maintain our reputation. But we also need someone who can keep secrets, work well with each other and be completely professional with the sort of side businesses we run"
Snow yawned and rolled her eyes. "What's in it for me? More fine dinners like this?"
Mavon gave her a look and continued. "You'll get paid- quite a lot, so you don't have to support yourself off your father. Basically, anythng you ask for- to Brutus- will be given if he sees fit"
"I don't need money. And I suppose if I do join, I'll have to meet Brutus?"
Mavon nodded. "He'll need to approve you. But we're all pretty sure you'll be accepted. You're wealthy, beautiful and have a reputation as a nasty bitch- no one will want to fuck with you"
Snow raised a brow. "You do realize that rep is only at school right?"
Dominic shook his dark head, grinning at her confused look. "Everyone knows your father- and they all in turn know his only child that he loves more than his life. Everyone knows you Snowflake, especially how frosty you can be"
Her eyes darkened, turning impossibly black as she leaned to Dominic's face. "Don't ever fucking call me Snowflake." The name brought back memories, ones Snow didn't want to remember. Her sudden snap into pure agression made the boys wary, especially Abel who had been considering ways to fuck her silly- but it only reinforced Mavon's belief she was the right one.
"It still stands. You have a reputation and personality to match- one that we need. Are you willing to give this a go?"
Snow didn't have much else to do, apart from school study, watching TV shows and the odd singing podcast here and there- it was just, there were a lot of boys. And she had heard rumours about Brutus. But she had also heard the rumours about herself.
"I'll meet with Brutus- and only join if I like him. You owe me dinner for the next two weeks. I like Chinese, Thai and Noodles, ask the people there to get Snow's usual, and they'll understand"
Then she stood up, grabbed a few burgers, chips and a drink from Abel's tray, and left the diner- leaving them all watching as she left.
Tanner whistled lowly, Dominic nodding in agreement.
"You've got yourselves a blizzard with that one. I'm almost sad I won't get to see you all trying to navigate it"
Mavon watched her leave, thinking over her reactions.
"I don't think anyone's ever tried"
