__

There was a deep yearning in Snow's chest. Everytime she looked in the mirror and saw white reflected, she missed her dad. She missed him with a pain that was lodged in every crack of her heart.

Abel called to her from the lounge, and Snow swiped her red lipstick on, snarling at the mirror when she saw what she had become. What she had to become to leave Frederick.

She picked up her coat and walked out of the bathroom, taking Abel's arm as soon as she came near him.

"Did Felix send you those numbers?" Snow murmured to him, jumping in his car. Abel nodded, slipping the file over to her.

Snow flicked it open, scanning her eyes quickly over the contents. Names, numbers, addresses. "I'll be going out with Dominic after school, so you don't need to come get me. I'll see you at dinner."

Abel nodded, eyes on the road as he drove. "Has Tanner found the mole yet?"

Snow sighed, shaking her head. "No. But he has three more people to...talk to."

Abel placed a hand on her thigh, squeezing reassuringly. He had been a constant support, even when the lack of time stressed Snow out to her limits, he stayed calm, patient and tried to understand.

And that was all she needed to get through. It wasn't that hard to pretend she was with him- they had a chemistry Snow hadn't allowed herself to feel before everything went to shit. Plus, everyone at their high school had immediately thought that they were a couple, some girls going as far to say as it was no surprise.

They jumped out of their car, immediately assuming position; his arm around her shoulder, her hip pushed slightly into his, both with expressions that emanated wealthy arrogance.

A power couple.

Mavon came up on their other side, happy face on as always, even though he knew what was going to happen later. Dominic came behind them, his eyes on Snow as they walked, surreptitiously throwing glances different places to see where Landon's men were. They were few, but blended into the crowd almost too well, and Dominic counted up three.

Three spies to make sure Snow was the same, that she hadn't changed from the person she had become with Landon.

Felix met them at the entrance, nodding to them before going back to what he was doing on his phone. Probably hacking something, pissing off the government or just playing piano tiles.

Snow bared her teeth at anyone who looked at them for longer than four seconds, the very image of barely-tamed ferocity. When they got to her class, Snow turned and kissed Abel, hard and domineeringly, so that anyone who watched knew she was the Alpha.

Landon needed to see that she was still angry, and could still command as much as she used to.

Abel's breathing was a bit more haggard than usual when she pulled back, and Snow gave him an arrogant smirk.

"See you later babe."

Abel grinned, throwing his bag over his shoulder before he turned away, going to walk with Mavon. "Not if I see you first, Tiger."

Dominic and Felix followed her into their first class, both taking seats on either side of her. And when the teacher walked in, a new substitute, and kept his gaze on Snow, she knew Landon was watching.

And she wanted him to.

_____

"I don't want you to do this." Dominic murmured, running a hand through his hair. He didn't like the look in her eyes ever since she had gotten back- and he knew she had to do things that she didn't want to do.

Snow glanced at him, reaching out and grabbing his hand. "I'll be fine Dom."

They both knew she was lying. But Dom kept his hand with hers, and they walked into Brutus's main place of work, her heart beating a million miles a minute.

This would take all of Brutus's anger to execute, so she needed to get him angry enough to want to kill.

Which would be easy. But getting him angry enough to want to kill Landon?

A bit harder.

She slipped her hand out from Dom's and ran it through her hair, glaring at anyone who dared to look at her for another second. No doubt they were all thinking about how a scorned lover had come back- and even though it still hurt to think of him, still hurt to remember when he had left her- she had other people and other things to worry about.

And nothing would hurt more than having her father never around.

A blonde haired girl walked into Brutus's office before Snow and Dom got there, seeming to not notice either teen.

Dom placed a hand on her shoulder, a silent encouragement for her in the face of someone she thought she loved moving on with someone else.

Snow had a lot of love.

But she also had a lot of hate.

So she slapped on a smile, reared her knee up to her chest and kicked the door with such a force, it broke in half and all Brutus saw was a white woman with the most maniacal smile he had ever seen.

"Hello, lover. I've got a few interesting things to tell you!"

Brutus stood, pushing the girl off his lap and going to grab his gun. But Snow leveled both her gun filled hands to his face and she cocked her head to the side, letting a little of that fury show.

Not fury at him. Fury that she could become this so easily.

"Now now now, don't want to have a little accident do we?"

Brutus snarled, slamming his hands on his desk. "What the fuck do you want Snow?" his eyes flicked to the man behind her, scowling deeper when he saw it was Dominic.

Snow kept her hands up, a conniving expression on her face.

"I know a lot about you Brutus. I know very, very much about you."

________

The song is hella lit, listen to it. Also, it has strippers in it so you might not want to watch it.
