Chapter 9: The Concert

- Dara's POV -

I woke up smelling Bom's feet on my face. Gosh, this girl is sleep walking again.

"Yah!" She screamed as I push her off my bed.

"Goodmorning too Bommie" I got up and immediately ran to the bathroom. The concert is held today! I'm so excited about it.

"Dara? Come here for a sec." Chaerin went out of the kitchen and faced me.

"Sure. What is it Chaerin?" She looks really tired today. She got dark circles under her eyes.

"You look awful" I laughed at her and she glared at me.

"I looked awful because I did something for you!" She pouted. Wait. What? 

"What did you do?" She immediately got the remote and turned the tv on.

"That's a dandruff commercial" I told her. Do I really have dandruff?

"Wait a minute! It'll be out soon. I guess" Just in after the commercial was done, the morning news came out.

"Here is your scope in today's breaking news!" The reporter said.

"Is the YG star Dara Park dating?"

"WAIT WHAT?!" I looked at the tv in disbelief.

"Dara Park was caught in the night market last night with a guy. Netizens said that they were shopping together and left immediately after she was caught."

I giggled as I saw a picture of me and Jiyong riding his motorcycle.

"Lee Chaerin, Ms. Park's manager said that she was with a staff last night and they even informed them that they were gonna go shopping."

"Curious netizens thought that she was cheating on her fiance, Dong Youngbae, who is the CEO Dong Holdings. But it was told that she was only going out to have fun. The YG family will have a concert tonight and tickets are already sold out."

Chaerin turned the tv off and looked at me. "Now, explain to me who was that guy and why didn't you say that you were going out?"

I grinned at her "It was Jiyong, Chaerin. It happened really fast actually, that's why I didn't ask you"

"Aigoo. My head is spinning because of you" I got up and immediately hugged her.

"Thankyou Chae. As a sorry gift, I'll cook for you today" I immediately skipped into the kitchen and cooked the girls some pancakes.

"Ohmy! Noona went out with Jiyong!" Minzy jumped with hearts in her eyes.

"No fair Dara! Why do you always get the good-looking ones?" Bom pouted and sat on the kitchen counter.

"It's nothing like that! Jiyong and I are just friends" They sighed in disbelief.

"Besides, I'm engaged remember? I love Youngbae" 

Speaking of him, I haven't heard from him since the last time we were supposed to meet but he didn't come. Oh well, maybe I'll see him later at the concert.

"Come on girls, it's time to clean up. Let's go!" Chaerin called us to get ready so I cleaned myself up and went to the venue.

It's five minutes until the concert starts and the Colosseum is already full of screaming fans. 

"Dara, Bom, Top, Seungri, Daesung, Se7en, and YG Crew, Standby! We'll start in a few minutes" The director called us as Chaerin was fizing our clothing.

"Goodluck out there" Jiyong came in and gave us all a high five.

"Thanks. The stage is amazing btw."

"Ofcourse, I designed it" I rolled my eyes and he gave me a gummy smile. I admit, he is cute.

"In five, four, three, two, one, GO!"

The concert lasted for over 4 hours and it was a blast.

I really enjoyed performing on stage, it makes me feel like I own something and I feel like the happiest girl in the world when I'm on it.

"That was awesome!" Top, Seungri, and Daesung all jumped around with joy after the concert.

"I'm so tired" Bom is already lying on the sofa eating corn. 

"Congratulations guys, that was awesome!" Jiyong came to us and hugged us one by one.

"You were amazing today. You looked like Beyonce on stage" I laughed at him and slapped his shoulder.

"I did it for the fans. It was so much fun" I smiled at him and he patted my head.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it" We looked at each other for like a minute, and I swear, my heart started to pound unevenly. It's weird.

"Dara"

I turned around and a big smile just plastered on my face as I see Youngbae walking towards me with a bouquet in his hands.

"Congratulations, you looked great out there" He handed me the bouquet and I can't help but smile. 

I already forgot about what happened days ago. I guess all I need now is to enjoy the time I have with Youngbae.

"Jiyong, this is Youngbae my fiance" Jiyong smiled and shook his hand.

"It's an honor meeting the CEO of Dong Holdings" Youngbae smiled and thanked him.

"Everyone! Papa YG said he wants to treat us a meal for the successful performance!" Chaerin yelled out and the staff and performers just ran around like crazy. Because when YG treats us a meal, it means he was impressed with our performance.

"Let's go everyone! Youngbae, you can come to" 

"Yeah, I guess we still got things to talk about with my fiancee" Youngbae looked at me and then looked at Jiyong and just smirked.

Oh no, I guess he already heard the news.
