Hey all am getting in to this; almost the end of Twilight and soon will be joining Summer and then on to New Moon; I've got big ideas for the Summer and Ministry and Cullen's as well as the Swan sisters....enjoy

El and Bella were somber as they exited their boyfriends car, the burnt out Gym was the gossip that lead the school and the massive building with police tape was a big giveaway. The devastation that it left had effected Elle and Jasper had to stir her away from the damaged walls. 

"It's still under investigation" he muttered and Elle nodded as she stayed clear of the burnt out building. 

"What's the repercussions?" She asked Jasper as he walked her to class "Of James? obviously she's his mate; I thought you mate only once?" Jasper nodded 

"We're keeping an eye out" He winked as Alice bounced towards them grinning as Elle was dragged in the art room. 

"Hi Jazz, bye Jazz" The over excited Pixie called Elle waved slightly blushing as Jasper laughed and walked to his own class. 

Elle paid little attention on her classes that morning, her focus solely on the Victoria and her new plan. Alice and Jayson both told her countless times not to worry about it but Elle couldn't help it; living with the threat right around the corner brought up her hurried memories of the past and always looking over her shoulder with Harry and co. What worried her she was facing this alone, yes she had a pack of Vampires willing to sacrifice themselves for her and her sister but she didn't have Harry besides her. He was her protection. 

She fingered the cellphone at lunch time, Harry's name and number on the screen. Her food lay forgotten and she bit her lip as she ignored the soft conversations around her. She sat with Alice, Jayson, Emmett, Rosalie and Jasper. Bella and Edward had long since separated from them. 

"Call him if you need too" Jasper replied in her ear, Elle quickly locked her phone and slipped it in her pocket. 

"No, it's fine" She commented sliding her pasta dish towards her and picking at it. Jasper sent her a look before dropping the subject. He knew exactly what would cheer her up. 

"Can you come with me ma'am?" he asked Elle, his southern accent slipping Elle dropped her fork and nodded standing as Emmett and Jayson cat called and Alice giggled 

"Where are we going Jasper?" Elle asked and Jasper ignored her as he dragged her to the back of the building. Jasper lead her to the library, her second favourite place to be. 

"Why have you put candles next to books?" She almost screeched to him,He laughed but lead her to the back, the candles leaving a trail. 

"Firstly I wouldn't dream of it and secondly they're fake" Jasper replied and Elle did a double take the small tee lights were intact fake and leading to a sofa which held a bouquet of red roses.  Elle gasped as she lifted the roses and sniff them. 

Jasper they're beautiful" Elle turned to Jasper who was down on one knee She gasped again

"This isn't a proposal yet...besides I wouldn't be doing it in Forks high library" Jasper explained Elle giggled but nodded and let him show her the board he had hold off.

On it was written 'You took my breath away, now let me take your hand to Prom?' "I know it doesn't rhyme or it's not really original but I was wondering if you-" Elle hadn't let Jasper finish as she kissed him on the lips. 

"I take this as a yes then" He replied chuckling at her. Elle grinned as Jasper slowly rose to his feet.

The pair walked out of the library hand in hand several moments later, Elle was clutching the roses and Jasper the bag filled with tea-lights.

"Oh, thank god he finally asked you" Alice replied meeting Elle outside the geography corridor. "I thought he'd never ask you"

Jasper rolled his eyes but pulled his girlfriend closer "We getting ready at mine and Bella's?" Elle asked and Alice beamed 

"Of course, Angela and Jess will be there too" Alice commented knowingly; Elle nodded 

"Say 4 o'clock ?" Elle replied and Alice smirked 

"We'll be there at half three, Jess will change her mind about her hair ....again" The vampire commented and Elle sighed before kissing Jasper on the cheek and following Alice in the geography classroom.

The rest of the afternoon flew by, talk was wrapped around Prom and who was going with who; it was no secret that Jasper had asked Elle in a very romantic way and the females (and some males) were gossiping about the romance and the bar Jasper set.

Elle and Bella had enjoyed the last few hours of school. They were able to see Charlie at the diner that night and Elle was able to finally gush as she told Charlie about it; Jasper then stayed with her in to the night as she spoke about her life at Hogwarts. 

"So Fred was your ex?" Jasper asked fiddling with a stray curl; his eyes drifted to the Weasley family photo on Elle's bedside table 

"Fiancé" Elle corrected and Jasper rose his eyebrow. She looked at him "Back then it was different; we're at war. Surely you understand?" Jasper nodded his eyes falling on to his crescent scars. "We wasn't sure if we'd live or die and well in the end he did..." She paused and jasper squeezed her 

"Tell me about Hogwarts...Before the war?" 

"It was beautiful, rolling hills, sparkling lakes and large glistening windows" She explained; her eyes sparkled and her happy smile had Jasper's heart swell. 

They remained there the rest of the night chatting about Elle's school and magical life.

Okay so it is a little on the short side I know but this was more just a filter chapter right before prom etc... May also add a summer chapter I am unsure really.
