"So when are you going to tell me what's wrong?" My mother asked me for the hundredth time in the last ten minutes.
"Nuffing ish mwrongh muhm! Ih tolfd youh thaft! Leahf mhe alofne!" I said, trying to speak through my third cupcake.

A/N by the way she said nothing is wrong mum! I told you that! Leave me alone! In case you were wondering. Back to the cupcakes.

"Then stop grumbling around like a sorry lump and give me a proper hello!" She shot back, her flaming red hair complimenting her false angry look.Mom was visiting my dorm for the weekend and we had been arguing and ignoring each other since she got here, it's 11:30 pm now and we're still at each other's throats, in the kindest way possible.
"Why don't you go back to playing crossy road or whatever you do on that phone of yours mum?" I passed her her phone, hoping that she would give up on pestering me about my outburst that she didn't know about.
"No because something is wrong and I intend to find out what. Why don't you just tell me and then I'll leave you to your muffins." She reasoned.
Oh no she didn't.
"Mom they are cupcakes and you of all people should know since you're the one who started this addiction in the first place!" I threw my hands up in the air, like I could just throw my frustration up with it. Sadly it didn't work. I might try again when no one is looking...
"Fine, fine, you win... an ass just like your father, stubborn as any." She muttered the last part to herself, barely audible, but I heard it anyways. I decided to fill my mouth with heaven again, to avoid speaking. Or just to avoid being heard when I speak. I don't really care which.
Getting up, I decided to give one last try to get her off my trail. "Mom, it's 11:35, go to bed, I don't want a grumpy mother to take care of on my way out tomorrow."
"All right, I'll go to bed on one condition." She said, a mischievous grin on her face now. She held out one hand and pointed at a cupcake with the other. My eyes widened at her attempt to steal my soul. I did what any proper person would do. I grabbed them all and ran like hell towards my room, my mom hot on my tail.
Skidding around the corner in the hall, I made a mad dash for the stairs. Trying my best to keep quiet for my roommate, I dove into the room like a wild animal and closed the door. Unfortunately, she had company with her, and he was not amused.
"Who is this?" He growled, gesturing in my direction. His green eyes looked hard and unforgiving. As soon as I had looked their way I wished I hadn't. My face immediately turned red when I figured out that I had just walked in on my roommate making intense love to her lover. I did my best to hide my face behind my babies, whispering an apology to both my roommate and my cupcakes. Then I trained my pleading eyes on Sasha, hoping she would come to my rescue and see my situation. Her response had me wishing I was roommates with Jax.
"I don't know, what are you doing here Kal?" She gave me an icy glare, covering their bodies properly with the blankets.
"Mum tried to kill me." I replied sheepishly, my face turning redder than the cupcakes.
"You mean she tried to steal your 'life source'?" She said sarcastically, twirling her titan blonde hair around her finger in an irritated manner.
