As soon as Lauren got home she started helping her mom set up who was running rampant like a wild kangaroo, yelling out orders left and right to her staff as well as Taylor and Chris, who were running around like chickens trying to help. She smiled as she thought of her girlfriend. Clara stopped quickly to talk to Lauren for a second. "Honey, you have to make sure to look your absolute best tonight. All of you do." Clara said while looking at her three children. "But especially you because there is someone you need to win over tonight." Clara whispered and Lauren looked at her beyond confused. "Who?" Lauren asked. "The owner of the very very important company, well one of them, we could potentially make a deal with has his niece coming over tonight." Clara started. "And?" Lauren questioned. "And...I need you to win her over." Clara said simply. "Well why can't Chris do it?" Lauren argued. "Because. She doesn't like boys, and I only have two daughters, but Taylor is far too young so that leaves you." Clara explained slightly annoyed. "Okay mom just because i'm ga-" Lauren started and her mom instantly cut her off. "This has nothing to do with that. This is business." Clara said. "Well i'm not dating a random girl." Lauren said stubbornly, she just got Camila and there is no way in hell she's losing her if pictures get out. "Lauren please, i'm asking you to do this for me." Clara said with a stressed look. "What's her name?" Lauren sighed rubbing her forehead because Camila was going to be there tonight and she's stuck having to flirt with some random woman. "Karla. Now that's enough questions. Are you doing it or not?" Clara asked. "Fine, i'll do it." Lauren said glumly heading up the stairs. Should she tell Camila? It seemed like the right thing to do. Lauren went into her room and begrudgingly picked up the box containing her dress for tonight that was supposed to be to impress Camila, who might not even see her. Lauren took it out but almost had a heart attack when she noticed it was stained. How the hell did she not notice before?? "Fuck." Lauren grumbled, now she had to go buy something fucking else. Instead of just going to the mall and getting a headache she dialed the number of her mom's company stylist, Josh. After a few rings he answered.
"Josh Mat speaking." She heard."Josh! I need your help, it's Lauren." Lauren said rushing her words slightly.
"Jauregui?" He asked.
"In the flesh." Lauren said with a small smirk.
"Aww baby jaguar! How are you?"
"I'm in a bit of a pickle at the moment. And i need need NEED your help."
"Well I just got back from London, but I can never deny a Jauregui, what do you need?"
"Well I bought a Ralph Lauren dress for tonight, and when I opened it tonight it was ruined." Lauren explained and Josh gasped.
"Seriously? Well don't worry, i've been talking to some designers recently and i've found an amazing amateur with actual decent work. I have a great outfit I could maybe get my hands on for you. Would you mind it white?" He asked and Lauren thought for a moment, she didn't really like wearing anything other than black but she couldn't complain at the moment.
"Not at all, white's perfect." Lauren replied.
"Okay sweetie, when do you need it by?"
"The event starts at 7, so 5:30? Also, can you maybe do my hair and makeup?"
"Hm, I guess I could. Only because you're my favorite, don't tell Chris, I set him up a photoshoot for this weekend and he'd be offended" Josh said making Lauren laugh.
"Alright, promise." Lauren said.
"Okay...i'll be there at 5." Josh said hanging up after Lauren said her goodbye's. Lauren sighed before throwing her phone and herself on the bed. The clock read 4:05pm, so she basically had an hour till Josh gets there. She decided to text Camila about the other situation.
