Chapter 28

Lauren put on a very convincing fake smile which Austin returned, upset having seen Camila and Lauren make out each other earlier. "So tell me Cashter.." Lauren started. "Actually it's Carte-" Austin tried but Lauren went on. "What are your hobbies Caplen?" Lauren asked and Camila almost burst out laughing. "Carte-"Austin said but Lauren cut him off again. "I feel like you enjoy golf, do you Carrie?" Lauren said feigning seriousness when she really wanted to just laugh in his face. Austin's jaw tightened and he took in a deep breathe. "Yeah, I quite like it." Austin sighed. "What about basketball? I'm pretty good, right Camila?" Lauren said and Camila nodded quickly. "Oh I love basketball. I'm actually really good. Like the best." Austin said cockily and Camila looked at him like 'bitch what'. "Actually...didn't you get kicked from the team Austin?" Camila said matter of factly and Austin's confidence faltered slightly before he waved her off. "Nah that was because of grades Karla." He said with an eye roll then suddenly a smirk. "That was when Karla and I...were kinda a thing." He said smirk in tact as Lauren instantly got tense. "Right Karla?" He flashed a smile at Camila who nervously looking at Lauren, hoping the green eyed girl doesn't attack the idiot with fuckboy hair.

When Camila didn't speak up he said it a bit louder with a threatening gaze that got Camila to instantly speak up. "Yeah, uh yeah." She stuttered out and he looked at Lauren with a satisfied smile while Lauren just kind of stared at Camila in question and worry. Why was she so intimidated by one look? Lauren wondered. "Okay listen Arctic, I don't give a fuck about what you have to say next....because obviously you and your tiny ass dick are still chasing after MY girl. So i would greatly appreciate it if you would evaporate as soon as possible." Lauren said feeling herself getting annoyed by every passing second, and because of Austin's relentless smirk. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to trigger you...and that's strange, Camila used to love my di-" Austin started but didn't get to finish because of Lauren's fist connecting with his mouth. Camila instantly reacted and took ahold of Lauren's hand, pulling her away from Austin who was covering his bleeding mouth angrily.

"Weak." Austin said with a chuckle. "If you want to take my girl...you have to do better than that." Austin said cracking his knuckles. "She's not yours. She's not a fucking object!" Lauren yelled at him. "I don't give a fuck what she is, she's MINE." Austin said getting dangerously close to  the brunettes before a strong, tall figure got in between both of them. Arms crossed stood Mike Jauregui glaring down at him. "What the hell is your business here?" Mike interrogated and Austin instantly shrunk, not expecting someone to stop him. "Um I came here to do business with you sir. I am from Nextera Energy. Head manager sir." Austin stuttered out trying to find his professionalism and failing, offering his hand which Mike looked down at for a second before ignoring it to glare at Austin. "My company...could buy your bosses company. If you want to make a deal with me....you shouldn't be going after my daughter, or bothering her in any way. Is that clear?" Mike said firmly. "I-I wasn't..we-we're all good right girls?" Austin asked with a pleading look that Lauren and Camila ignored. "He was insulting me and my date. I don't want him here." Lauren said looking Austin dead in the eye. "I guess we won't be doing business together." Mike said but Lauren shook her head. "But Ca-I mean Karla works there! It would affect her too." Lauren said gesturing to Camila.

"Okay....what's your name?" Mike asked the nervous man. "Carter." Austin said and Camila spoke up. "It's Austin Mahone." Mike shook his head. "Well Mr.Mahone i'm going to have to ask you to leave my house." Mike said as Clara came up behind him. "What's going on honey?" She asked Mike. "Nothing." Mike said as he escorted Austin out. Camila sighed before turning to Lauren, who took hold of her hands and pulled her closer. "I'm sorry about that. About all of this." Camila said glumly. "There's no need to baby. He's gone for now." Lauren said smiling softly at her gorgeous companion. "For now what if he co-" Lauren cut Camila off with her lips, putting all the affection she could muster into it before pulling back. "I love you. And i'm here, I won't let him do anything to you, or me. I promise." Lauren said kissing Camila's cheek affectionately. "I just worry too much." Camila said with a laugh. "I appreciate it, but I can take care of myself babe. What I don't want is him bothering you, so...if you could maybe spend the night?" Lauren asked hopefully. "You sure your parents would be okay with it?" Camila asked hesitantly. "I think my mom would love it. She's been fangirling in the corner for the past two hours." Lauren said taking a drink from the server and pointing at her mom who would look over to them every now and then with a smile. Camila shook her head with a wide smile.

Lauren slid her hand to Camila's lower back as she led her towards her beaming mother. "Mother, would it be okay if Karla stayed here tonight?" Lauren asked and Clara thought for a bit. "I don't know...you guys just met. And I don't want any sex in the house." Clara said bluntly but with a small smile regardless and Camila as well as Lauren almost choked. "Well....we hadn't exactly just met. She's actually my girlfriend....and her name is Camila." Lauren said nervously. "No, it's Karla." Clara said confused looking between the two. "My first name is...I go by Camila actually." Camila explained. "And we've actually been dating for..some time now." Lauren settled on saying. "Was she...your date that one day?" Clara asked trying to piece things together. "Yes. It was her." Lauren said and Clara nodded. "Well...this is even better than I thought! You can stay the night Camila. But like i said....ZERO frisky business you hear me?" Clara said sternly and Camila quickly nodded while Lauren shook her head in amusement. "Well you two can go up to Lauren's room, I'm sure you don't want to be stuck down here bored." Clara said with a playful wink. "I don't if you're encouraging or testing us?" Lauren said with a chuckle before grabbing two glasses of wine for herself and Camila before they both made their way into Lauren's room.

"We are not getting frisky." Camila warned as she sat on the edge of the bed and Lauren over dramatically threw herself next to Camila and looked at the girl with raised eyebrows in a playful way. "You say that now. You can't resist me." Lauren said confidently with a smirk and Camila laughed. "I think I can." Camila said slightly pushing Lauren off her because the green eyed girl had leaned in very closely that Camila had to take a long sip of wine to calm her nerves. "Fine.... Want to see something cool?!" Lauren asked out of  no where after a few minutes of silence. "Sure." Camila said with a smile. Lauren stood up and looked at the clock that read: 12:58am before extending her had and helping Camila up, connecting their lips briefly before reaching for her window. "I want to show you my favorite place in the house." Lauren said taking brief glances back at Camila as she unlocked the window and prepared the ladder from the roof of the first floor to the top of the house. "Come on babe" Lauren smiled at Camila who looked fondly at her girlfriend as well as checked her out while she climbed the ladder because...who wouldn't? Actually she hoped no one else did because Lauren is hers. Camila had a bit of a fear of heights and it was kicking in as she climbed the ladder, as Lauren smiled encouragingly. ".....good job babe." Lauren said helping Camila balance up by resting her hands on the older cuban's waist.

"What are we doing here?" Camila asked with a hint of a smile. "I wanted to show you something almost as beautiful of you, it doesn't even quite compare but it's still a sight to see." Lauren said placing a kiss on Camila's blushing cheek. "I love you." Camila said her eyes pouring out her emotions, the biggest one being: love. "Not as much as I love you. Now come on, the best spot is over here." Lauren said running ahead happily. "Come on camz!" Lauren beamed. "Oh what the hell." Camila said running after her girl, jumping really high as soon as they were in close proximity, "catch me Lolo!" Camila yelled and Lauren instinctively wrapped her arms protectively around her before spinning her in circles, them giggling to each other. Lauren smiled before lifting Camila up into the air, holding her tightly. "Lolo!! I'm flying!" Camila giggled and Lauren laughed at her girlfriends sillyness. "I really love you." Lauren laughed as they reached the edge and she brought Camila down in front of her. "I can't even explain to you how much you mean to me. You're showing me what living is, and what's it's like to have something so worth living for." Camila spoke up, looking into Lauren's eyes, feeling herself getting lost in them, being pulled towards the green eyed girl. "I hate that you have such a way with words. You leave me speechless every time Camila Cabello." Lauren said with a small chuckle as she leaned in, Camila meeting her halfway as they kissed passionately under the light of the many stars in the night. Completely engrossed in each other, falling deeper in love with each other, if possible, by the passing seconds.

Hiii guys ! I apologize for taking soo long, but i had quite the weekend haha. Sooo much fluff is coming your way in the next few chapters its actually ridiculous, as well as something else you guys may have been waiting for ;)
