Chapter 14

Niall's P.O.V

"But Darcy wait!"

"No Niall I HATE YOU!!"

When she ran out, I was kind of crushed inside but I ran out after her.

I figured she'd be mad but not this mad.

I ran out the front doors of the restaurant and looked around frantically.

I saw her slide down the side of the wall and sit there.

I sighed and walked over to her.

She went off towards the side near the back so there wasn't anyone else around.

"Darcy, look."

"No Niall I don't want to hear it." She said standing up. "I thought you were different. I thought maybe you'd just be an easy going guy who laughs at everything even if its not funny and just live life instead of being a dick like every other guy. Guess I thought wrong."

"Well I thought you'd be one of those girls who doesn't hold grudges because we tried to get 3 best friends back together so we don't have to see 3 upset girls mopping around so that when they go back to school they don't get suspended for fighting in the hallway. Guess we both thought wrong."

"Well you thought."

She walked away and I ran up to her and grabbed her arm.

"Get off of me. Now."

When I didn't she looked up into my eyes.

"Please get off."

"Look Im sorry for what happened. We should have told you guys we were going to do this but we knew none of you would have agreed to come. Now if your still going to be mad at me, at least let me drive you to get ice cream and than ill take you home."

She tried to pull her arm away but I wouldn't let her.

"Fine. But I don't want ice cream."

"Well your getting it any way."

We walked towards my car and I drove to the ice cream shop.

She ended up getting vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles. I got vanilla and chocolate mixed in a bowl with lots of toppings.

I drove her home and decided Id invite myself in.

"What are you doing." She asked standing at the door waiting for me to leave so she could close it.

"What do you mean? The nights not over and I thought id hang with my friend."

She sighed and moved out of the way so I could walk in.

"So what do you want to do?" She asked but I was already heading towards a door.

I don't know where it was going to take me but it looked like a basement.

"NO! You cant go down there!"

"Why not?" I said and than ran down the stairs.

"STOP!" She yelled obviously running after me.

I reached the bottom of the stairs and it was a huge room.

It was a dance room and there was another door that you could see into the dance room.

I went into the little room and it was a recording studio.

She said she doesn't like to sing.

"Is this all yours?" I asked her.

"Yeah."

"What do you use it for?"

"Well I like to dance a lot and its fun to sing so I record songs to sing to."

"Can I hear you sing one?"

"Absolutely not. No ones ever heard any of them. Not even Aislinn or Perrie."

"Please Please Please!" I begged. I really wanted to know.

"Fine but sit in the dance room. You can hear through the speakers."

"Can I pick the song?"

"I guess. Um here you go." She said handing me a book.

I opened it up.

The first song she wrote was called "Pompeii."

I flipped through until there was the most recent page.

Her newest one was called "Say Something."

"Can you sing Pompeii first? And than Say Something?"

"Only one. Pick."

"I guess Pompeii."

She nodded and started turning on the equipment. I listened to her and walked out and sat in the dance studio.

I heard music start and I turned around to watch her sing. I wasn't sure if she saw me turn around but I don't care.

She sang the whole song and it was a really deep song.

Her voice was really good and I could tell this song was about something she cared about.

I clapped when she finished and she smiled in embarrassment and came out.

"Now all I have to do is see you dance."

"Never." She said.

I laughed.

"So what was that song about. It was really good."

"Well I wrote it when I was 11 when my parents got a divorce. It was right when I moved here."

"Its really good."

"Yeah. I like to sing it because I don't really see my dad except for during summer break or something."

I nodded.

"Well I think its time for you to go."

"Well I don't think I want to go."

"Oh well come on."

I stood up and went towards her.

"Please don't make me go."

She shook her head and pointed towards the door.

I sighed but started walking.

I turned back around though and I kissed her.

I don't know what happened but I just kissed her.
