Rafe helped me get to New York to meet Sam. We took a private jet over there.

Rafe didn't show any emotions during the whole time we flew to New York. It's like he didn't really care about it but all though, he wasn't happy about seeing Sam.

"You know, you don't have to come with me to meet him?" I said.

"Someone has to make sure you get there safely." He responds.

"I can take care of myself, Rafe."

"I know. I just feel like I need to."

"Sam won't hurt me. He'd be dead long before he even could get courage to hurt me."

"It's not Sam that I'm worried about."

"Then what is it?"

"Never mind."

As I got of the plane, I forced Rafe to go back home to his mansion.

"I'll be fine, I promise. I'll call you when I get there, okay?" I said.

"Fine." He gave in. "I'll miss you."

"I miss you already."

I gave him a hug and he kissed me all over my face and neck.

"Alright, calm down." I laughed.

"I won't be able to do that for a couple of days, you know. I'm not going to survive." I chuckled.

"I'm sure you will."

Rafe helped to the taxi and then I was off to see Sam. Excitement took over me and my hands were shaking the whole trip home to Sam.

***

The Taxi stopped outside Sam's house and the taxi driver helped me with my bag which I didn't expect. He later drove off.

Sam greeted me at the door way.

"Melanie!" He shouted and lifted me from the ground to hug me. I hugged him back.
I started to cry.

"I've missed you so much, Sam!" I cried.

"Aw, I've missed you too, Princess." He responded with a laugh.

"Princess? That was new." I chuckled and he let me down.

"You're crying?" He wiped my tears off with his thumbs.

I just looked at him for a while.

"Let me show you to where you'll sleep, alright?" He suddenly said. I nodded and he grabbed my bag.

"No, there's no need, Sam. I can carry my own bag." I laughed.

"Oh, shut up. Let me be a gentleman for once." He was stubborn so I didn't bother to argue.

He dropped my bag in a room with huge windows. It had a view over the forest behind his house. There was also a smaller mountain a little further away. I was stunned.

"That's beautiful." I said.

"I knew you would like it." He chuckled.

"Thank you."

"No worries. So I thought that we could go exploring it later today."

"Are you kidding? I would love to."

"Great! But first, we'll eat. I ordered pizza right before you go here."

"Ah, pizza. You really know your little sister, don't you?" I chuckled and walked up to him at the door way.

"Yeah, well..." He hugged me, my forehead was lining up with Sam's jaw, which means he was definitely taller than me. I didn't complain that he always rests his head on my crown. I love hugs from tall people.

______

Okay. I just had to write an epilogue.

If you haven't noticed, I've started a new book called Ghost Town.
I would be really happy if you guys read it.
