After the Doctor left Keith standing in the hallway, he began to realize that how far the matters have gotten. One thing was lying about knowing Angel before but now that her health... she will be mad at him, it was sure. He was about to go out the door and find Nathan before he heard Angel's voice called out, "Are you not coming or what?"
Keith started to smile as he remembered that that was one of her favorite sayings. He sped walked to catch up with her. Angel walked into a room with a big leather couch that was facing a huge flat screen TV.
Angel pointed to one of the side chairs that were on each side of the couch, "Sit." She said the command so forcibly; Keith was afraid what would happen if he refused.
She sat on the couch and stared at him, "Explain."
And he did. He told her everything from the time when his grandpa sent the letter to come see him when he saw her before the accident, then he woke up in that white room and her memory loss to coming here to Nathan's childhood house so she can stay somewhere.
Keith was afraid to look at Angel, afraid he'll see the disgust in her eyes for him. For so bluntly lying for these two months.

When he finally looked at Angel, she was shaking. She gave him a look, "So, you expect me to believe that you never met me before my accident. You lied, Keith. The only thing I wanted was the truth from you."
She laughed humorlessly. Keith gulped looking at Angel. It was his fault. "But, then why are you here? You told me about how you missed your business deals in these two months. So why are you here when you should be trying to go back to your life?"
Angel looked like she was almost in tears, "Are you still here because of me?"
He nodded and reached out to Angel, but thought better of it, "Angel, I still care for you deeply. That will never change. Know that you... ever remember... love someone else, won't bother me. I'll be fine."
Keith was watching Angel's reaction as he saw a single tear fall, and he knew she was about to lose it. Angel raised her hand to her face to catch the tear.
She began to start crying and sniffled, "Before, I used to ask myself if I was pathetic that I was attempting to remember our time before all of these. Now, I don't even know anymore." She began to fully cry.
Keith seized the opportunity to hold her to his chest and let her sob. He held her to what seemed about eternity, but he didn't care. All he cared about was making sure this girl was happy. Even if she will be happy being with someone else.
Once, she finally stopped crying, He began to run his fingers through her hair and rock her back and forth, "You okay, now?" She nodded, "Angel, I wanted to ask you something."
She nodded for him to continue, "Do you...Can we still be in a relationship?" She shrugged her shoulders, "I know what I'm asking for is selfish but I don't want to lose you now." She again shrugged her shoulders but this time with a smile. "Angel, I promise if you remember and want to go back to your life, I'll let you go."
He knew with this, he was going to break another promise.
