Keith was laying sideways on the King sized bed thinking of Angel. His thoughts were cut short when the house phone rang. He was keeping his phone silent because of the client's constant calls. He groaned and went to answer the phone.

"Hello?"

"Keith William Ortiz! How come I haven't heard from you for the past three weeks? I called your assistant several times to check up on you because you have not answered your phone. What is going on?" Keith realized his dad was beyond mad.

"Dad! I'm sorry I was busy." He mumbled.

"You still not back? What is going to happen to your company, have you any idea? New companies will rise and people will take their back on us cause the CEO is a lazy ass who's in his grandpa's house pinning after a common girl!" His dad yelled. Keith rolled his eyes at his dad's swearing. His dad hardly swore but when it comes to the company, he's strict as ever.

He attempted to calm down his seething dad with part of the good news. "Dad, our company got the annual year lake project. We're working with the Riverview Company."

He sighed, "And what did you say?"

Keith smiled as he answered, "I said yes. I need to have your opinion. Should we have the project in England or in California?"

His dad hesitated before answering, "California. I better see you soon to your work, goodbye. Take care." And with that, he cut off.

"Was that your dad?"

Oh shit! Angel.

*********
"Angel? Angel, are you alright?" Keith asked. She was honestly scaring him. She hadn't really made a sound for the past five minutes.

"Keith?" He heard her say very softly.

He pushed a lock of her hair behind her right ear, "Yes, babe?"

She inhaled and then exhaled, "Do you need to go soon?" She said it so quietly that he barely understood her.

"No." Keith smiled looking at Angel's sad face. He knew hearing their conversation was really a bad idea. But he knew how to bring a smile to her face.

"On the contrary, I'm thinking about renewing our date which got ruined." Instantly a smile formed on her face. She grinned brightly.

"So when's this date going to be?" She asked poking his shoulder.

Keith smirked, "Right now."

"What?" She squealed surprised.

"Get ready, Angel. It's going to be the best date you've ever had."

And he wasn't going to let her go that easily either.
