"Stormy!" Kenny calls out from behind me, I had been sitting on the park bench for a half an hour, basically doing nothing but watching the ducks, it had been so quiet that his burst made me jump.

"Hey!" I smiled, seeing his golden locks shine the way they always did in the sunlight before I could make out his facial features, "it's been too long Kenny, where have you been!"

He shrugged, before sliding onto the bench next to me, "you know, mom's working me like crazy these days." He said, sighing.

I looked over at him, my brown eyes meeting his blue, "well, tell Pat to cut it out, she's messing with my best friend time!" I exclaimed, nudging his knee with my own, causing him to laugh.

"You know Stormy," he started, suddenly taking a more serious tone, causing my smile to fade instantly, "you should really start introducing yourself to more people, you're great and they'll see that. I barely have time anymore to do anything, and it sucks.. But I want you to have more people you can rely on" he finished with a small shrug.

My head tilted sideways, not knowing what to say, but the sudden anxiety swept over me, and I clutched onto the side of the bench with sweaty hands.

Kenny jumped to attention right away, "no Stormy, I don't mean I'm going to disappear" he stated calmly, as if reading my thoughts.
