Part9

Jeon Jungkook

"Your house is so big." No, it's huge.

My eyes were wide as I stared at the almost fake looking grass that covered the car filled lawn. The trees were cut into little animal figures, and there was even a fountain in the driveway. The driveway. I wasn't out of the car yet and my mind was racing with things I could steal.

I shake my head at the thought. I won't do that, especially because it's Taehyung's house. Only because it's his house.

Taehyung parked his car further away from the others then gestured for us to follow him. "Technically my brother doesn't want me here, so if you see him make sure he knows I'm here."

I get nervous as we get closer to the door. I've never been to a party before but I can see the others have a ton of experience. The jacket I'm wearing seems to get tighter. I fiddle with the zippers wondering why I let Jimin dress me up for this.

"You'll be fine." Jimin wraps an arm around my waist. "If anything happens we'll be right there, right Tae?"

Taehyung nods, nuzzling his nose in my neck. "We won't leave your side."

I feel a little better but as they move away from me my heart speeds up again. The door is opened and Jimin grabs my hand. The sudden contact reminds me of when Taehyung jumped on my back.

"Let's party!"

About thirty minutes into the door I lose track of Taehyung and Jimin. I'm awkwardly standing outside near the pool when a waiter walks by. "This drink was sent courtesy of that young woman." He points to a girl on the far end of the pool.

I take the glass but Jimin instantly takes it out of my hand and pours it onto the grass. "Don't drink that." He puts the glass back on the tray, waving the waiter away.

"Why not?"

He tilts his head with a smirk. His arms wrap around my neck bringing our faces closer. "I've been to enough parties to know what that means."

My arms move around his waist on instinct. He's a little shorter than me so I rest my head on his."What does it mean?"

He hums but doesn't answer the question. "Where's Tae?" His voice is strained like it's hard for him to breath.

I look around until I see the bright red hair. "Looks like he's going upstairs, maybe to his room?"

"Alone?"

"I think so, why do you ask?"

He pulls away from me but keeps a grip on the front of my jacket. "He might be looking for us, let's go."

Before I can protest, he's already pulling me back into the house and up the stairs. We passed people on the way, but they don't pay us any mind. The stairs curl into a circle as we make it to the top floor. "Which one is his room?"

"This one!" He points to the one at the far end next to what I'm assuming is the bathroom, or a room, or another part of this mansion. He doesn't bother knocking as he opens the door and locks it behind him.

"You can't just walk in," I whisper yell but he ignores me, going over to lay across Taehyung's bed. I look around but I'm not even surprised that it's bigger than my house.

"It's fine," He says removing his jacket. "Tae said we could come in here if we get bored, or just want to rest." He ruffles his hair then curls into one of the many pillows, inhaling deeply.
