The next day Jungkook was prepared to either talk about or listen to whatever Taehyung wanted to say. However, no matter how much he searched or waited, Taehyung would never appear.

"Where's your brother?" Jungkook once asked Ella who seemed strangely happy due to the pain her family was going through. Jungkook assumed she didn't know.

"Oh, Tae's at home." She responded with a slight frown. She didn't know exactly why but her favorite brother was acting unlike himself.

So he waited another day. And another. And then finally, on the fourth day of anticipating Taehyung's return, he finally arrives. It was around lunch when he spotted his blonde haired boy with tired eyes and sagging shoulders.

He quickly excused himself from the table, earning weird looks from Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi. Taehyung didn't notice him yet so he used this opportunity to tangle their fingers and pull him along. Taehyung was about to say something but Jungkook put a finger to his own lip, silencing him.

They stopped someone in the hallway where no one else was. Jungkook pulled Taehyung into a warm hug, burying his face in the younger boy's neck. "I missed you," The raven haired boy spoke quickly.

Taehyung squeezed him tighter. "I missed you too."

Jungkook pulled back slightly, resting his arms on the blonde boy's shoulders. "Are you okay?"

He shook his head but still managed to smile, "No, but it will get better."
