Part9

Taehyung leaned his ear against the door hoping to listen to the conversation. He went looking for Jungkook since he seemed to be gone long and found his brother's room door opened slightly.

Voices could be heard so he thought it was just one of the nurses, but the voice belonged to Jungkook. His heart skipped a beat as he listened carefully.

"...I trust you Jungkook, and so does my brother. You know," Baekhyun stopped and Taehyung felt his eyes blur. "I might not be there but, Taehyung, and Ella, they like you very much. I'm not forcing you to stay but, when I go I hope you can talk to them. Our parents might not understand how to calm them down."

He shook slightly and he realized small droplets dotted his shoes. He squeezed the edges of the wall as he shook, but still listening. He really wanted, needed to know what Jungkook was going to say. He needed to know if the feelings in his heart weren't his imagination.

"Don't worry,"

He could hear Jungkooks angelic voice. The thickness in his words as he tried not to cry. Taehyung respected that. How his raven haired boy looked at the bright side, still wanting to care for the people around him. His heart squeezed a little tighter.

"I'll hold onto them."

"Where are you going?"

Jungkook grabbed his coat and shrugged it on. He slipped his feet into his boots as he pulled on hat and gloves. "Taehyung wanted to spend Christmas night with me, is that okay?"

"Yes, but take him some pie. Do you want me to drive you there?" His mother asked, already placing a large slice into a container.

"No thank you, I'll walk." He took the container and kissed her cheek before leaving.

It was already night by the time he was halfway there. The streetlights blinked on illuminating the icy streets with an eerie glow. Jungkook didn't realize how far the hospital actually was until now.

He pressed the yellow button and waited for the cars to stop. He just wanted to make it to Taehyung. Share this pie with Baekhyun and see that smile on his blonde hair boy's face.

But for some reason, his plan never took place that night. With icy roads and speeding drivers, he suddenly couldn't breathe. Black spots and fading sirens is was kept him company. Soft snowflakes are what kissed his cheek, not the red lips he liked so much.

Not the boy be loved.
