Zervas lied on his bed silently staring out of the cell, today was the day he was going to release the virus. During our two days of mental preparation I got beat up pretty hard by the Prison Thugs. The food here is disgusting, a brown paste with small orange cubes which Zervas calls "Our version of Protien." I can't eat them, it makes me throw up so I have to go through my meal and pick each one out individually. What's worse is that Hauxim don't have hair, so I can't get a haircut anywhere around here, and I think I'm starting to need one. Zervas introduced me to the "Leisure floor" where the Hauxim go to swim (in water surprisingly) and exercise. You could compare it to a large athletic complex from Earth.

"Are you ready?" Zervas looked over at me with a serious face.

I nodded and moved to the cell keypad, I swiped left, right, then up and the door creaked open. We walked down the halls acting very nonchalant as to not raise any suspicion. A guard stopped us just before the lab and did a body search. If Zervas had a vial on him he probably would've gotten an infraction, I would've gotten one too as his accomplice. We opened the lab door and placed the medical masks on as I injected myself with another EAI. Zervas slid open the door and took a small needle, sliding it into a plastic opening the orange liquid filled the vial.

"Pass me that spray gun."

I walked over to his desk and grabbed a black gun with a large container with a red-hot coil running through it with a nozzle. I handed it to Zervas and he injected the needle onto the red coil as it evaporated into a dark red gas. We walked out the lab door and into the main room of our cell block. Zervas screamed something in Hauxim as everyone came out of their cells and the guards walked in holding curved night sticks. Zervas sprayed the gas at the guards as they looked at him strangely. Suddenly one began to choke and pink dots swelled up on their skin one collapsed gasping for air as his eyes became bloodshot. The guards couldn't do anything and the prisoners ran in horror desperately banging on the doors separating each block.

"Now's our chance!" Muffled Zervas underneath the mask.

He darted across the room and swiped a keypad opening a door. Three guards stood behind it with night sticks and swung at Zervas as he sprayed the Virus onto their faces and they collapsed, Zervas tightened his mask against his face and kept running through cell blocks killing guards and prisoners alike. His eyes were wide as if he enjoyed every moment he harmed these people. He opened another cell block door as the lights went red and numerous Hauxim wearing purple hazmat suits stormed in holding taser-rods and small pistols. Zervas took a step backwards and sprinted towards the guards, violently clawing at their suits, as two guards reached to grab him he ripped open the suit of the guard he was on top of stuffed the spray gun nozzle into the opening and held the trigger for at least five seconds, the Hauxim inside began to hack and cough suddenly there was a blast of light and Zervas fell to the ground motionless but screaming in pain. He rolled onto his back as dark red blood gushed out of his stomach in the exact area where I stabbed Harvax. I dropped pacifism, Zervas was the only Hauxim I had met that hadn't shown immediate signs of aggressiveness. I picked up the pistol of the now dead guard on the floor and shot it at a guard. It was a green blast of electricity that pierced right through his chest leaving a large hole as he looked to the side and dropped backwards. I grabbed Zervas' arm and dragged him to a crate lying at the other end of the room. I pulled off my shirt and wrapped it around his stomach tightly, he was losing blood fast and numerous guards began to enter the room. Once I had finished treating Zervas I picked up the pistol and peered over the crate. I shot one guard clear through the head. Two knelt down to drag him away and I shot one through the leg, he howled in pain as I ran to another crate, a fury of green lit up the room and I slid below a bullet.while one grazed my stomach, burning me instantly and cauterizing the wound. I clutched my stomach panicked as I looked over at Zervas who was sitting up, pulling out the spray gun. He put on his mask and I nodded. In that moment he threw the spray gun above the crate. I heard the glass shatter against the ground as guards began screaming as a bubbling broke through the room. I twisted a knob on the gun and green light spread throughout the room, The liquid landed on a single one and his skin was bubbling and melting. The true effects of Zervas' virus. The guards panicked as I stood up, gun in hand. Shooting them all. Suddenly I fell to the ground. My lungs stinging, I reached into my pocket to grab my EAI's. They weren't there. I saw the needles scattered across the room and panicked. I couldn't use the breath I had left and my vision blurred intensely. I crawled weakly towards Zervas. I could feel my blood vessels bursting in my eyes and I went blind. The last thing I saw was a green glow as Zervas dove towards me, clutching a needle.
