CHAPTER 8: All New Season Of 'The Kashyaps Take The UK!'

Amrita:

The day we were to leave for our 'vacation' was finally here and I couldn't have been more nervous.

"Take care, love. Don't forget to call me, okay?" Noah said to me in one of the few moments that we could actually be alone together.

"Attractive men with Scottish and Irish accents for a whole week? It's going to be very difficult remembering your name after this holiday, Noah." I chuckled.

"Then maybe I should give you something to remember me by." Noah replied inching closer to me. I however, had already gone weak in the knees as he had just quoted Ginny Weasley (Ginny and Harry are the greatest ship, you have to agree).

Before I could come back to reality, Noah had pinned me against the wall and was slowly inching towards me, eyes fixed on my lips. He was being extra slow today and the anticipation was killing me.

I decided to take control of the situation and attacked his lips with full gusto. He was definitely taken by surprise at first but then responded with full enthusiasm. He wrapped his arms around my waist and nearly lifted me off my feet and I held onto his face like my life depended on it.

Ten on ten for that kiss, might I add.

"How was that for something to remember me?" He asked, with a sly smile plastered on his face.

"Good. Great." I replied, as I was still slightly dizzy after that.

"You have fun, baby. I love you."

"I love you too, you loser." I replied and rushed to my parents.

Our bags were stuffed into three taxis and we made our way to the airport.

We met Dev at the airport, who, by the looks of it was shaking like a bell and was a soft shade of green.

"Hi." He said and gave me a warm hug.

"Hey! All set?" I smiled.

"Yeah! Looking forward to this holiday!"

"Yeah, me too." I chuckled. The key was to keep conversation to a bare minimum.

"What are you two lovebirds giggling about?" An annoyance in the form of Amay appeared.

"I was just going to check in." Dev said and hastily pushed his bags away from us.

"Can't you, for once in your life, be cool?" I groaned.

"No actually, I can't." Amay replied playfully.

"Dick." I swore and nudged him.

"Get ready for the holiday of your life, little one. You have no idea how much fun I am having right now." He cackled like an old lady.

On our flight, Amay insisted, very much in fact, to sit with Vihaan. Avni readily agreed and sat with Ma and Pa with baby Aviva on her lap, which meant that I was to sit with Dev.

I showed Amay (who was too busy snorting with laughter to notice) the finger and plopped into my seat.

"Looks like he is having a blast." Dev chuckled.

"Honestly, he can be so petty sometimes." I complained. "That little dipshit. I am going to crush him like the worm he is."

"It's not that bad. I actually enjoy the teasing. I find it hilarious." Dev smiled.
