Alright, everybody, thanks for waiting! Chapter one of "The Golden Deity" is finished! I originally was going to wait and update all three chapters at once, but I decided against it. It was taking forever to write three chapters and I thought that you guys deserved better than that. I really do want to write, write, and write, but I'm in my senior year of high school and am trying to transfer into college next year.

I have absolutely no plan to end all my Naruto Fanfics or putting them up for adoption. I killed a little piece of my heart when I ended them when people had to correct me, and I really hated that. I thank you all for the love and support that you all gave me, even if it was only for a week.

Now, I do not take shipping requests; just keep that in mind for this story. I am very, very picky with my ships. I love Naruto, but I do not agree with one of the canon ships. It's too mainstream for me and bottom Naruto is shipping fuel (*grins evilly*).

I don't have many "straight" shipping; the only straight ships I have are Luffy and Hancock, Kazuma x Bishamon, Natsu and Erza, and Naruto and Ino. Now, I'm pretty sure that you're about done listening to me ramble, so let's get down to the good stuff! Please do not correct me on anything!

Everyone make sure to vote, comment, and share! I was reading through the comment section over on "Change of Fate" before I decided to update and I loved all the comments that you guys have been saying. I laughed so hard at them (^_^). So please, please, PLEASE comment! Hearing everyone of you reacting to what I write brings tears of joy to my eyes. I love you guys, and I sincerely hope everyone will continue supporting me and my Naruto's! Believe it!

The beautiful sound of an equally as beautiful flute flowed through the air. The gentle sound of a small waterfall poured into a small creek. The small chirping sounds of birds were heard as they fluttered to the sound of the music. These were the sounds that the aged Hokage always heard whenever he came to this place. Lush green grass grazed the Hokage's robes as he walked towards the sound of the flute.

It was always like this, and it was mostly thanks to the player of the sweet melody. The Hokage breathed in the gentle air as he arrived at a small spring. The surface of the little body of water was undisturbed, like a mirror. It was undisturbed and completely smooth. In the middle of the pond was a medium-sized rock with a boy balancing on the tip of it.

The boy had yellow hair as bright as the sun and whiskered cheeks, a yellow Changshan with a white trim, white pants, and a pair of black and white slippers sitting on the edge of the pool. The boy's fingers graced across the golden flute in his hands.

The Hokage seemed to hold his breath as if a single breath would break the boy's concentration. The sound of the beautiful played till the area seemed to glow with an usually bright light. "Despite how many times I see this, I can never get over it," Hiruzen thought as he closed his eyes and allowed himself to get caught up in the melody.

A few minutes later, the melody soon came to an end and the glow faded away to nothing. Hiruzen opened his eyes and looked up at the boy. The boy stood on the tip of the rock, unmoving and undisturbed. He slowly lowered the flute and it vanished into thin air.

"Lord Hokage," the blonde boy said softly as he opened his eyes slowly. "Naruto," Hiruzen said with a nod. "So is it time?" Naruto asked calmly "Yes, it is finally time for you to enter the ranks of Genin," Hiruzen answered.

Naruto clapped his hand together and the surface of the spring began to glow. "Finally, how many years has it been since I took a step on the outside world?" he asked. "Six years to be exact," Hiruzen said calmly.

Naruto chuckled softly as the water below him began to stir. "The other have begun to stir and I have been getting quite restless myself. Leave this place, I will be in the academy by the time the squads are formed," he said.
