"This is too damn hard!" Kiba yelled annoyed. Naruto cracked an eye open to see the Inuzuka land on his ass for what seemed to be the tenth time today.

Kakashi's squad was doing the tree climbing exercise while Naruto and his squad members were doing their own thing. Naruto himself was currently trying (and failing) to meditate, Shino was checking out the local insects, and Hinata was somewhere with Kurenai being trained.

Naruto sighed calmly and closed his eyes again. His energy coursed through the ground, mapping out the area. "Come, Kiba, it's easy. Even Sakura did it on her first try," Kakashi said bored from his place leaned up against a tree with a book in hand. "Hey, Kakashi -sensei, what's that supposed to mean!?" Sakura asked angrily.

Kakashi shrugged and looked back down at his book. Kiba snorted annoyed before he got back up. "You would think that I would know how to do this," he muttered. "You are the dead last for a reason," Sasuke grunted.

"Don't call me that!" Kiba yelled. Sasuke grunted before he tried once again to climb the tree...only to fall back down to the ground. KIba laughed. "Ha! You can't do it either!?" Kiba laughed. Sasuke turned around and glared at his teammate before he jumped at Kiba.

The Inuzuka growled and launched at the last Uchiha...only to run head first into in a stone wall. Kakashi looked up from his book and blinked at the scene in front of him. Sasuke and Kiba were sitting on the ground, their face red from the impact. "Naruto!" Kiba and Sasuke yelled as they turned to the meditating golden haired boy.

Naruto cracked one of his eyes open and stared at the two Genin. "Yes?" he asked. "Don't do that!" Kiba yelled annoyed. "Do what? I was just here to trying to meditate but you guys are causing a lot of noise," Naruto said calmly. "Than where did that wall come from?" Kiba asked as he pointed to the offending wall.

"How am I supposed to know where that came from? I was just trying to meditate peacefully," Naruto said with a tilt of his head. Kiba and Sasuke narrowed their eyes at Naruto before turning around back towards the tree.

Naruto nodded and closed his eye again. Shino jumped down from the branch above and landed right next to his teammate. "You did that on purpose," he said knowingly. "I didn't want them to start arguing again, so I stopped them in their tracks," Naruto said.

Shino nodded and sat down next to his teammate. "You really don't like fighting," he noted. "I do not like conflict in general," Naruto said calmly. Shino nodded silently and allowed his friend to go back to meditating.

Kurenai and Hinata walked into the clearing. Kakashi glanced up from his book and Kurenai shot him a look. The Jonin nodded and shut his book loudly enough to get everyone's attention. "Alright, since you guys clearly can't get the hand of the tree climbing excise, we're trying something else," he said.

"What is it this time?" Kiba groaned. "Water walking. Come on," Kakashi said. His Kiba and Sakura groaned and followed after their sensei. Sasuke glared a little annoyed, but followed after Kakashi with no objections.

"Shino, Hinata, go with them. Maybe you can show them some ropes," Kurenai said. Shino nodded and stood up. "Naruto, are you coming?" he asked as he looked down on his friend. "No, I think I can finally get some peace and quiet now that Kiba and Sasuke are away," Naruto said calmly. Shino nodded and followed after Kakashi group along with Hinata.

Once they were gone, Naruto fully opened his eyes and zeroed in on Kurenai. "Well? Have you found Gato's base yet?" the Genjutsu mistress asked. Naruto sighed softly and shook his head. "I was unable to focus with the many noises around me," he said. Kurenai nodded as she walked up to her student and handed him a scroll with the Hokage's seal on it. "It arrived just today," she said as Naruto took the offered scroll.
