(Okay, before I start, Thank this Chapter's story to Wattpad Amino, since they voted where this chapter's direction will go)
A flood of light arrives in my eyes, and I exhale slowly, wondering how the door opened. I didn't move as a shadow passed over the cabinet, making my eyes re-dilate. I looked up to see the figure of a man over me, the umber covering the soft lights in the ship.
"Do you know where this comes from?" He says, exhaling in clear annoyance.
I shrug and stand, seeing that he is almost a foot towering over me. He looks down at me, his hands saying 'I'm strong, Phoenix.' His arms, full of scratches and bandaged, saying 'I'm injured, Phoenix.' His eyes saying, 'Don't leave Phoenix'. I look up to him, his eyes continually grazing around the ship, only fleeting into mine, as to show his immediate disinterest.
Boom.
He immediately grabs my arm. "We have to go.." I move my arm away quickly, but he just seizes it again, this time pulling me along out of the ship. We walk for a few miles until we reach a small camp that has a couple logs in the middle of a compact fire. For some reason, he has two tents up even tough he is clearly the only one residing here.
He walks back out of a baby blue tent "You're gonna have to stay here since you clearly know nothing about Earth as of now." I pout in protest, but he throws a sleeping bag into my face so I just stalk over to the other tent, closing myself off. I close my eyes, letting rest finally meet me as my consciousness drifts away.
Wake up.
WAKE UP.
I quickly awaken, jolting up from my spot to have that boy centimeters from my face. He moves back in surprise, trying to apologize as his gaze meets my cynical stare. I relax.
What happened before he woke me up was just a dream.
I start sweating, my breathing alike to a panting dog, making me hot even though he and I are both in a small, thin-walled tent in the middle of winter. "I'm sorry, but I have to do this." He says as he uses his bandaged hand to lift his bangs away from his face, moving his head closer to mine.I jump back, putting my hands over my face. He laughs a little, saying "I'm not gonna hurt you." He wraps his other hand around my neck pulling me closer. I move my face away, looking at the ruby red tent wall. He uses his hand to make me face him, me concentrating on the churning red eyes he has fixated into my dull blue ones.
He puts his forehead to mine, our noses grazing each other. "You're burning up," He says. "I'll set up a small furnace in here."
He leaves the tent, me wondering what just happened. I shift in my sleeping bag, feeling colder from him not being there. He yells back, "Oh, by the way, My name is Abel."
