I was sleeping peacefully in my room all alone since my boyfriend couldn't get his off of work on time since he working overtime. He's a doctor so understand his job is stressful enough with out me being him to come home. I am also a doctor but he has more work than me since I'm still new. I started drifting to sleep until I heard thunder and saw lighting. I jumped off my bed by the fear I have of storms. I gathered all the blankets I had and made a ball around me. I was shaking thinking of all the bad things that could happen. Suddenly my night light went off and complete darkness surrounded me. I covered my body with the blankets completely and buried my face in them. Then I felt my blankets being pulled off of me. I was frozen in fear to do anything. Then I heard some moment then breathing on my neck.
"Ahhhhhh!" I screamed but a hand covered my mouth.
"It's okay I'm here kitten." I knew that voice.
I turned around and hugged Namjoon tightly. He planted a kiss on my forehead.
"I'm sorry I scared you." I wiped off my tears.
"I thought you were a monster or a murdered you scared me so much but I thought you had overtime today ?"
"I passed it off because I knew today there was going to be a thunderstorm and I know how scared you get of them so I stayed."
"Awww you did that for me?" He smiled revealing his sweet dimples and nodded.
"Thanks I love you but where did you hide?"
"I was hiding under your bed and I love you too."
"So there is a monster under my bed."
"Not anymore the Monster will be on top of the bed holding its most prized possession." With saying that Namjoon lifted me up and put me down on the bed.
We then cuddle for the night and I had no nightmares thanks to my monster Namjoon.
