Prince Jason's POV (after Kayla left)

Chapter 6

"What did I say wrong?"

"Nothing, it's just that her parents are humans. She only knows the stuff she does from her friend Alex." Said a girl with red hair.

"Why would he know anything about shifters?"

"Isn't he that vampire friend of hers you two were arguing about earlier?" said the other girl at the table.

"Yeah, and we had a argument about it earlier and she won the argument because it seemed like he meant a lot to her." The red haired girl replied.

"But why would a vampire know anything about shifters?"

"Well there is the chance he could be royalty or already went to at least one year to that vampire academy." Said a boy with messy black hair.

"I guess that's possible, but I want to see for sure who he is."

"You do know if Kayla finds out she'll be really mad right."

I guess I know her name now. I need to remember to look her up in the records. Then I said, "why should I care I'm the prince."

"I guess you wouldn't but something about her gives off power and that you don't want to be her enemy. And she seems to protects her friends and that's only from the two days I've known her." the red head said.

"Who you talking about?" my new roommate and apparently a vogue shifter Josh said.

"Kayla."

"Does Kayla have dark brown hair with emerald green eyes and has a attitude?"

"Yep. How do you know her?"

" Yeah we meet yesterday. If only she knew I was a vogue shifter, but then again with the way she was acting yesterday she's probably one too."

"She's a earth shifter and with the way she just blew him off I doubt she would treat you any differently from yesterday." the blonde said, and sadly I have to agree with her.

"Oh well. but I came over to see if Jason and Nick wanted to come and play football with the guys." Josh said.

I said yes and left the table, but one thing for sure is that I'm defiantly going to need to have a close eye out on Kayla and her friends.
