Chapter 4: Just do it

I was shocked about what happened next.......

He leaned forward to me and I shut my eyes close. I tried arching back but I was all frozen in place.

A sudden loud bang filled the room, destroying the atmosphere. 

It was Jungkook, and he was panting and sweating like crazy while he use his other hand to maintain the door open for him.

"I knew it." He mumbled but could still be heard.

I turn around to look at him. My tears just gave up and flow to my face. Jungkook walk towards us with him behind me.

"Jungkook.." Mr. Lee whispered. And I'm starting to get confuse all of a sudden. What's going on here? 

"Minhyuk, I know what you're planning to do and I'm telling you to stop it in advance before I even do something to you, PHYSICALly." Jungkook raise his voice at the last words. 

Wait how did he know his Minhyuk??

"Jungkook, of course you'll show up. I'm guessing what you will do next, punch me and take Raeun out of my hands." Mr. Lee smirked. "I'm glad you know, so release her before I really do it." Jungkook made a fist and I could clearly see his trying to control his temper. He glared at Mr. Lee.

Mr. Lee gave up, putting his hands in the air as a sign of surrender. "Ok fine, you win again. But not next time." Mr. Lee devishly grinned.

I quickly wrapped myself around Jungkook's arms, I was so scared at the moment. I don't know what to do.

"We'll see." Jungkook answered and he held my hand. Exiting the office.

He's still gripping my wrist and it starting to hurt so bad. He was dragging me somewhere.

"Jungkook stop! It hurts-" I tried removing his grip from mine. Every time I do it he grips my wrist even tighter.

We finally stop and let go of me. I rubbed my wrist which is now red. 

"Jungkook what's happening?" All this time I was so confuse. Why did Mr. Lee ask me to go to his office alone? Why is Jungkook there? Why does he know Mr. Lee's name? Why do I feel like they knew each other?

He didn't answer my question and he just ruffled his hair. I walked towards him to check if he is alright.

"Jungkook I'm-" Before I could finish my sentence he immediately pulled me into a tight hug. He was burying his face onto my shoulder. Not knowing what's the situation is so I just patted his back hoping that he'll be fine.

"Raeun.." He stood straight up with his eyes glaring at me down. "Promise me not to go to that rascal again. Disobey him if you have to but don't go near him again or better yet don't let him see you or you seeing him, vice versa whatever."

I wanted him to explain what's going on. What's between them? What's there history together. I'm just confuse but he wouldn't explain it to me. I don't know how I'm able to promise him to avoid Mr. Lee if I didn't know what on earth is going on.

"Jungkook tell me please. What happened between the two of you? How come you knew him?" I begged. He shook his head over and over again. 

"Just do it." This time he raise his voice, I was already scared. "You already saw how he acted towards you. He wants to take advantage of you." 

I was on the edge of crying. "I see that but please explain to me first. Why are you so mad at him. Don't tell me its because how he acted towards me. There's really something going you two." 

"Look Raeun." He cupped my cheeks. My face blush but I tried not to show it. "I was just protecting you. I don't want you to get hurt. Physically, emotionally or even mentally. I want you to be happy." He explained.
