Chapter 13: Sticky notes

Taehyung's POV~

Flashback~

School ended and everyone starts to go home but I didn't feel like it. I waited for everyone to leave before I could go somewhere. I hid in the music room until everyone is almost gone.

I decided to go to the gym. As I got there I lay in the middle of the room. It was quiet. There were no screams and shouts. Just me alone. I could only have this moment rarely. I often get mobbed by a pack of fangirls. I do like it because everyone gives their attention to me but these past days, I'm starting to regret it.

Thoughts lingered in my mind until the gym door opened making me snapped back to reality. I quickly stood up and hid in a room where all the equipments at.

I took a peek at the small window of the door trying not to get caught. It was Mr. Yoon and Ms. Hani. They were fighting.

"Hani-"

"No Jeonghan. I'm leaving and that's it."

"Please don't leave, if you do I'm coming with you."

"I can't I already book my flight."

"But what about me? You can't just leave me."

"I don't care."

I slowly leaned in the door to hear their conversation more clearly. What is this now?

"If you want me to come back then... there's a dare. Date one of your students and break her heart."

"If you won't do it then let's break up. I already have someone in line if it happen."

"Someone?"

"Yes, he's name is Jungkook. If you don't know him yet he's the most talented person I know and handsome too."

"Fine, I'll do it.'

"But there's someone in specific."

"Someone specific?"

"Yes, you still agreeing?"

"*Sigh* Yes."

"It's a girl that's been bothering me to hang out with my little cutie pie and I meant Jungkook so if you could get rid of her then I'll come back so do it as soon as possible."

"Then that would make you hang out more with him than me. I'm not stupid Hani."

"I guess you don't like it."

"Of course no--- Fine."

"That girl is....... Ahn Raeun."

My heart stopped a bit. Her? Why? I started to get very nervous although it wasn't me but that nerd in class. I shouldn't be caring at all but my senses tell me that I should....

Protect her.

I reached home and plopped myself on the bed. I can't still get over the fact Mr. Yoon is going to break her heart. But that's Raeun she wouldn't fall for someone like him. He's a teacher and she's a students. I just hope nothing happens to her.

I'm going crazy why am I the one who is feeling scared and nervous, I'm not the one who is going to feel the pain of heart break and disappointment but I do. Why is that someone's telling me to protect her at all cost. She's nothing compared to other girls I've met. She's a nerd but she somehow manage to get my attention. Maybe I got tired of always seeing someone who is overly attracted to me. She's special, that's all I can say.
