Clary's POV
After we say bye to our parents and I get into another fight with my mom, we get on the tour bus. I head to my room and pull out my guitar. I pull out my notebook too.
I look up when I hear a knock on my door.
"Come in," I say and Seraphina comes in.
"We are having a band meeting in the tv room," she tells me.
"Okay," I say standing up. I follow her to the tv room with my guitar and notebook in hand.
"Someone was busy," Seb says.
"Shut up Seb," I say causing everyone else to be surprised.
"Our first stop is going to be in Columbus, Ohio," Alec tells us, "Izzy will be talking to each of you individually about outfits. You guys need to write some more original songs."
"Would you all be fine with me singing an original alone in Columbus?" I ask them.
They all look at me before nodding. That's when Jace speaks up.
"We should sing a song together Clary," he says.
"Yeah sure," I say, "I am going to take a nap but meet me in my room in an hour to start writing one."
By this point Jon, Seb, and Seraph are all confused. I never sing songs with anyone but them. We used to have another member of the band and I punched him in the face when he asked me to sing a song with him. I get up and head to my room.
An hour later I wake up to knocking on the door. I open the door.
"Say one word about how my hair looks and you die," I say to the person who woke me up.
Jace looks terrified as he puts his hands up in a surrendering way. I laugh and he comes in. I set up my notebook and guitar.
"So what kind of song do you want to sing?" I ask Jace.
"I was thinking maybe a song about being in love since saying hello," Jace tells me. I write that down.
We work on the song the rest of the trip to Ohio. When I wasn't working with Jace on our song my own song was being completed.
In Ohio
"Can we hear the song you have been working on?" Jace asks me. I look up to see everyone standing in front of me.
"I would prefer it if you waited until the concert," I say, "how far from the hotel are we?"
"We are pulling up to the hotel now," Jon says.
"What's the plan for the day?" I ask.
"Check into the hotel and then we have an hour before we do a meet and greet. Dinner is after that then we have the concert," Alec tells us.
