Chapter 1

((Shadow's POV))

"Yo,Shadz?" I opened my eyes to see the Faker standing close to me. 

"What the hell is it now?" I asked him,clearly feeling annoyed.

He would smile. "Well,Did ya bring a gift for me?" 

" No. I didn't even want to come. You dragged me along,Remember?" I said,pushing him away. 

He would laugh happily. Why the hell is he so happy? Does he not remember we are enemies?

"Well,I consider you my gift!" He said,holding my hand and he leaned his face closer to me.

My muzzle would change into a slight red color. '..Am i feeling ill..?' I asked myself as i turned away from him.

He would back away. "Jeez! I didn't know you blushed! I was joking! Well,not really! You being my friend would be a great gift!" 

This 'blush' would soon go away. "Well,I'm not being your friend. Also,Everyone is staring." 

Sonic would look to see Everyone was looking at us,he laughed and explained himself.

I would look down at my feet. 'I haven't felt this emotion. What does it mean?' 

I was once again,left alone. Soon after,I looked at the clock again. 

'Since they are busy..I should find my way out.' He looked around the room and walked to the front door. 'I simply cannot stay.'

I would walk out the house and looked at the sky. Maria would of liked this place...

(Flashback)

I would wake Maria up.

"Maria. We must go fulfill your wish." I said to her as she pulled off her blankets. Her hair was up in a ponytail and she smiled,pulling down her hair and rubbing her eyes. "Huh? Oh! We're going now..?"

I would grab her arm. "Come on." I would take Maria out of the bed,really we were leaving here for another reason. General is gone and Some army soldiers are here. 

"Hold on! Let me change out of my sleepwear! I gotta also tell my grandfather bye!" She kept a smile on her face as she let go of my hand. 

I would wait outside her bedroom,Watching for soldiers.  She would be done and i would run along with her,following behind as i held her hand.

"Wait..! Shadow,We need to see grandfather!" She demanded as she looked for him. "Huh? He isn't in his room." Her smile faded,she was worried.

"He is not here. Some people took him away this morning." I said to her,once again holding her hand. This time tighter so she wouldn't get free so easily. Soon,we both heard footsteps.

We both ran fast,Until we got to a escape room. Maria would look at the door we came out of,She knew something. 

She pushed me in the pod. "Maria..! Explain what you are doing!" I asked,beating on the door.

"I'm so sorry,Shadow."  She looked at me with a serious face as she pulled the lever,after that..

Blood spilled everywhere from Maria's body as she fell to the cold floor. "Go,Shadow..People need you.." She had a smile on her face as she waved. She soon stopped moving afterwards. 

"Maria..!" The pod would be shot away from the ARK.

I would look around,I couldn't find Shadow! Did he leave with the others..? I should go look for him!
