Chapter 3

((NOTE: I CHANGED THIS CHAPTER NEAR THE END. I DECIDED NOT TO ADD A MAJOR CONFLICT IN THIS STORY. I JUST WANT CUTE LOVE STUFF IN THIS ONE.))

(Shadow's POV)

'Damn,This faker...So desperate for me to stay. It's pathetic.'

'I can't stay. I have to find some way out.'  

"Faker. I need to go. Stop holding me back." I said to him,pulling my hand away.

I would look at Sonic as he made no more attempts to keep me here. 

"Goodbye,Faker." I would begin to walk off,until i heard Sonic. 

He was crying. 

"Faker,Are you..?" I would look back at him. 

He would hold me tightly in his arms.

"Please,Don't go!" He begged me.

"I want you to stay...Please,Just for today!" He held me tighter as he put his head on my shoulder.

I would blink at random for a few minutes. I did not know how to react,I know i had to go,but...At the same time,I don't want him sad..I guess i can stay. But,I'm not going to build a friendship with him. That's the LAST thing i want. I guess i can...help him,Maria did always tell me to help out..

But,I would look at Sonic and gently held his back,patting it softly. "Faker..Stay Calm...I guess i could stay...only for today."

Sonic would look at me and laughed nervously once more. "Oh! Alright,Thank you...Shadz!" He held my hand. 

"We can go on a date today! Like,A friend outing!" He followed up with.

"..As you wish. If it will make you happy." I said to him as he let go of me. He took a few steps back from me.

(Sonic's POV)

"Sorry for getting all sad on you! I'll try not to do it again!" I said,happily.

"All is forgiven,Faker." He said.

'I didn't want him to go...I really think I've fallen for him...I need to tell him before it was too late.'  I thought to myself as i smiled. 

"Faker,I will...also keep the gift. All my thanks goes to you." He said softly as he looked at me,closely. "Don't be upset like that again..It's...annoying to me."

'Shadow really does make me feel less lonely..'  I thought as i held Shadow's hand. 

"Alright! Let's go to the park! Just you and me!" I exclaimed as i walked outside with him.

Shadow followed behind me,He must of not cared i was holding his hand!

We walked into the park,holding hands and chatting. I was the happiest hedgehog with Shadow around!

A certain pink hedgehog sat us. It was Amy,She was hanging out with her friend,Cream. 

"Mr.Sonic! Why are you holding Mr. Shadow's hand?" Cream asked politely.

"Well,Me and Shadow are hanging out today and,I don't want to lose him today!" Plus,He doesn't mind! Right Shadz?" I turned to Shadow. He nodded to my sentence,proving it true.

"Really? Shadow? You don't mind?" Amy asked. 

"Yes. Why would i not..?"

"Well,you've always been a loner type. I didn't know you could be sweet!" She added a giggle.

"..I prefer to be alone but,Sonic..didn't want me to go.." He said in a cold manner. He did not want to tell Amy that Sonic was crying. So he kept it a secret. 

"Anyway! We're gonna hang out! See ya later Amy and Cream!" I waved goodbye as I ran off,seeing a nearby chilli-dog stand. I ordered two for me and Shadow.

(Amy's POV)

((Changing POV that isn't Shadow/Sonic seemed like a good idea..I dunno. I'm just wanting to focus on Shadow and Sonic's relationship. But,I don't want anyone being like "WHY ISNT AMY MAD?? SHES SUPPOSE TO BE JEALOUS AND--No. I'm NEVER doing that cliché.  I try not to do most cliches.))

I would look at Sonic and Shadow. Are they...a thing? Sonic does seem pretty happy by it..I love him but,i can't ruin his happiness. I smiled brightly at the two,giving them some support. 

Cream looked at me,not really understanding the situation. "Amy? Why are Sonic and Shadow together? Aren't you mad?" She asked,tilting her head at me. 

She was far too young to understand the relationship  between them. If the were a couple,I don't want to give her the thought of it being wrong. Because,It's not wrong.

I smiled at Cream. "Nope! Sonic is happy and that's what is important! Happiness is important!"

Cream smiled. "Yeah!"

We both walked out of the park.

(Sonic's POV)

I would look at Shadow,I was talking about our old fights we had as i was eating. I handed Shadow his food.

"Here you go. I know you don't need it but,it would make me feel better if you ate!" I exclaimed.

He took the food and began eating. "This is good,I guess." He said.

"Yeah! I don't think they're just good,but great!" I said to him,proudly.  

We both finished eating.

We hanged out and talked all day. We both were at a peacefully grass field,sitting. "Today's been fun! Don't you think so?" I asked him. 

He was looking at the sun as it was setting down for the day. I would look also. "Oh! Damn,We better get to my house! In fact,Maybe i can let you live with me! Since you don't have a roof over your head! I'll also be the perfect guard for you! I'll cook for you and all kinds of stuff!" I stated. 

Shadow looked at me. He could tell i was happy. "..Alright. Just for now."

"Awesome! C'mon!" We ran to my house. 

Shadow would let go of my hand and walked to his room. He stated that his head was bothering him. 

I would hang out in the living room by myself,I would get lonely so i decided to check up on Shadow.

"Hey Shadz! How you feeling?" I asked him.

"All is well,For now." He replied. I could tell by his voice he wasn't doing well. 

I would smile. "Alright! You should still probably get some rest! Want me to rest with you?" I asked,I wanted to joke around with him for a bit!

His muzzle became red. "No. Please get out now." He then sat in his bed.

"Alright then! Goodnight!" I waved at him,turning off his lights.
