Chapter 2

(Shadow's POV)

I would walk close to the Faker. He kept backed away. 

"Faker." I would lean into his face as his back was against the wall. Our noses were touching one another. 

His face began to turn red,as i expected. "Faker,Why is your face red? Are you feeling ill?" I would ask him softly. I didn't want to freak him out anymore than i already did. 

"Huh? Oh! I'm fine." He said,laughing nervously. He was obviously lying.

Or maybe he was hiding something. I must find out. I put my arms by Sonic's side. "Faker.Now that what you look like when you fabricate the truth. Tell me what is going on. Start talking or i will not let you go."

Sonic's muzzle was deep crimson red. "Shadz,Could you back up a little?" He asked. 

"Not until you explain yourself." I would stare into his emerald eyes.

"Alright,I will,Just give me some space." He would look at me.

"Good. First,Explain the issue with your muzzle. Why is it red?" I backed up from him.

'This faker...so annoying at times..'

"Now. Explain. Or I'm leaving." He said in a serious tone.

(Sonic's POV)

'Shit! I can't have him leaving!'  I would look at him. "It's called blushing,Shadow. It was like what happened with you when i got close to you earlier. Normally people blush when they are nervous about something...Or if the person is in love.." I said softly as i looked down.

"So,you're in love? Explain what that feels like." He said,crossing his arms.

I would look at him. "Explain it..? Well,I really can't..It's kind of hard to explain..-" I was interrupted by Someone knocking on the door. 

Tails would be at the door. He would bring me a gift! He mentioned at the party his gift would be late. 'What was it..?'  I opened it and saw a teddy bear,It had a blue bow on it.

"Thank you,Buddy!" I would pet Tails's head. "I'll be sure to repay ya tomorrow!"

I would hold the bear. 'I should give this to Shadow..He would like it more!'

I ran to Shadow,He was sitting on his bed. His face looked really upset. My ears would fall down. 'Did he know figure out i liked him..? I'll give him the gift later then..Maybe i can explain it to him'

I would hide the gift in a nearby closet.

I would walk in slowly. "H..Hey Shadz! You doing okay?" I would ask,I was clearly worried about him leaving. 

Shadow would look at me. "..Yes,I'm fine. Keep explaining." He said. 

I would look down. "Don't you have any questions?" 

"Huh? Like what? You're in love. It's not like i know what it feels like. If you're thinking i want to know who you're in love with. You're wrong."

I would sigh in relief,mentally but also,a bit heartbroken. I let it pass.

"Also. I remember earlier. You said you liked me,Right?" He would look at me. "Explain it. Why do you 'like' me? In what way?"

My  foot would tap on the hardwood floor. 'Should i tell him..? No..! He'll hate me if i do..'  I would look at Shadow. "I meant like as a friend,of course! And to why i like you,It's because..i think you're interesting! I mean..You're so mysterious..I really want to know more about you!"

I would blush a little.  'I hope he buys it..'  Shadow would look down. "Well,Thank you for the explanation. I will remember that." He said. "Now,that's one less thing to worry about.." He said,softly.

"Worry..? Are other things worrying you?" I asked him.

"Do not interfere with asking such questions." He said blankly. 

"Well,you shouldn't worry while you're at my house! How about we watch a movie?"

"Fine." He looked out the window. The rain was pouring down hard. "I'll...attempt to not worry as much. You will have to teach me how to 'enjoy' my time here."

"Will do! You gotta promise to stay the whole night though!" I would hold his hand and we both walked into the living room,The blanket i left Shadow was still on the couch. So was the food. I quickly heat it up in my microwave and ate it all. "Oh! Sorry Shadz. Did ya want some?" I asked him.

"I tried telling you. Food is not a necessary thing for me. I feel hunger but,i do not require it to live,Unlike you." He sat on the couch and stared at the TV. 

"Come on Shadz! Relax a little!" I said to him as i turned on a simple movie. 

Shadow looked at the back of the case,reading the plot.

< The movie is about a simple girl. She lived in a seemingly perfect world. She created it. She used her wonder-like imagination. She was alone,So one day,She thinks of a friend to have. Only,She created a monster out of doing so. The person she made was kind to her,for a little bit. It grew and grew into a abusive harmful monster. She will have to find out a way to stop her 'friend' without killing him,since she didn't want to be alone anymore.

What will the girl do? >

Shadow then put down the case. After a few hours of watching the movie,I soon fell asleep,trying not to get too close to Shadow.

After a while,We both fell asleep on the couch. Shadow,of course turned off the TV before going to bed. We ended up snuggling by each other to keep warmth.

In the Morning,I look at the clock,It would be around 9 AM. "Good morning,Shadz.." I said softly,rubbing my eyes. I realized that Shadow wasn't here! Did he already leave..? I..don't want that! 

I ran outside to look for him,Luckily he was just outside my home. I touched his shoulder. "There you are! Come back inside! I want to give you something!" I would said,desperately wanting him to stay. 

"Give me something?" Shadow would look a bit confused. 

I took Shadow back inside. 

'Phew..I would hate for him to go so soon..!' Sonic had a bright smile on his face,pulling out the gift. "Here you go,Shadz!" I would give him the gift. He saw it and looked at me. 

"Trying to bring me gifts that remind me of my past? Is this your way of torture? I think it's best if i leave now. Goodbye,Sonic." He would walk out.

Until,I would grab his hand,with all my strength. 

"Faker,Let go." He said to me. 

I didn't respond for a few moments.

"No. I can't..I wanted to do something. This is something i wanted to do for a while now."
