     Florence saw the call tab pop up on her screen. With no hesitation, she answered the call with her face cam on, smiling as widely as she humanly could. One by one the three others popped up, Chilled had started the call.

     "So, we already?" Galm spoke loudly and in an excited manner. Florence replied, saying she still needed to set up her Wii and the game. A few minutes later, she had an invite waiting for her and entered the game.

     "Okay so everything is on except computers." Chilled explained, his Mario hat covering his large, black headset. "Are we all doing random?" Everyone agreed, clicking the random button at the bottom of the options. It scrolled past the five blue boxes, picking one: Smarty's.

     "Bowsers Castle! Oh for fucks sake." Galm screamed as the the level loaded up. Florence chuckled as her camera focused back on to her character, Luigi. When the countdown hit two, everyone got ready to grab the boost, Anthony had pressed it a little too early and his character, Mario, had his bike spin out.

     "God-fucking-damnit! Why does this always happen to me!" He raged as he attempted to catch up to whoever was in front of him.

     "I don't know about you guys, but I kinda like this level." Ze interrupted everyone's annoyed screams as Toad, his player, shot past Flo's who had just fallen from second place into third.

     "Ze!" Florence shouted as she got the boost before Bowser's fist had the chance to come down and crush her. "Get your Canadian buttocks back here or I'll kill you!" She saw a red shell coming for her but blocked it with a banana just in time. "Stop with all the red shells! Please!"

     Anthony laughed as Smarty was knocked off of the course. "All is fair in love and war guys." Smarty swore at Chilled, attempting to regain his place back in forth. It was too late and everyone had already crossed the finish line, Smarty screamed.

     "I actually hate you all." He sighed loud enough to cause the others to laugh.

     "Apart from me, right Smarty?" Florence asked. Smarty agreed, before seeing what had been placed on screen.

     "Florence, no!" He commented, causing the others to see what she had put. Rainbow Road.

     "Florence, yes!" She called back as the spinner landed on it, causing everyone to shout and swear in unison. Florence, although terrible, was the master of this map and always came first. The others were extremely jealous and annoyed every time it was picked and if she was playing. "Bye guys!" She spoke as she went off, grabbing all three boosts on the decent down.

     "Ze, why didn't you decline her Skype request when you had the chance." Chilled exclaimed as he turned around a corner, acquiring three green shells.

"Well, I thought she was funny." Steven shrugged before screaming as Galm hit his character off of the track. "Until now." He spoke through gritted teeth.

     "You guys are better at games then I am." Florence protested as she drifted around a corner, collecting two coins. Smarty retaliated, saying that it didn't matter and that she must cheat while playing the map. "Yes, Smarty. I've got a cheat which has glued me to the track." She rolled her eyes, a red shell hitting her character.

     "How was the shell, Mrs. Hyde." Anthony laughed as he saw he was gaining speed on her. He was too busy trying to sabotage his friend that he didn't notice Galm throwing a shell towards him. It hit Mario off of the track as he was drifting, causing Anthony to wail out in frustration. With no surprise, Florence was first to finish, then Galm, followed by the last three.

     "That was actually extremely easy!" Flo laughed as she hit random again, smirking ever so slightly. "I didn't see anyone for half--" she was cut off by an angry chilled.

     "Because you were in front. The entire time! We kept dying. Dying dead." He said bluntly, waiting for the spinner to pick a new level. Dry Dry Desert. Suddenly, Florence wasn't laughing anymore.

          Florence rubbed her eyes and yawned, putting down the controller which had just turned off. "We need to stop living in different time zones." She laughed, a tired smile appeared on her face.

     Ze looked at her with a chuckled, the others had already left the call and said their goodbyes. "You need to stop staying up late." He practically insisted, pointing at his camera. "This isn't good for you or your grades." She waved her hand slightly in response, too tired to move any other limb. Deciding she was about to fall asleep at any moment, she moved to her bed, her laptop positioned on the end, just where she wouldn't be uncomfortable and that it wouldn't fall off.

     They chatted for a little while longer before Steven insisted that she slept, saying she'd make herself ill. "Oh shush, mother." Flo laughed, her eyes closed. "I guess you're right..." trailing off, she licked her dry lips, ready to get some shut eye.

     "Goodnight, Florence." Ze gave her a light smile, speaking quietly not to disturb her.

     "Night, Steven..." she mumbled, a few minutes later light snores could be heard from her. Not only did Ze have a smile on his face, his friend did also. He ends the call about an hour later, finding peace in Flo's comfort, something he longed for during their calls. He had to admit, the pair had become close.

     He cared for her, and she cared for him also.

a triple update? what is this! well, i kinda mentioned it in my rant book but because exams are coming up i probably won't have time to update a lot until they're over so here's a little present.
it's currently twenty to five ish in the morning and i'm dying, hope you're all doing well.
