chapter 14 - that's impossible!

JUST A NOTE TO EVERYONE, I DO NOT EDIT MY CHAPTERS UNTIL I AM FINISHED MY STORIES. SO IF THERE ARE WORDS MISSPELLED, DON'T TELL ME. I ALREADY KNOW. I POST THE CHAPTERS RIGHT AFTER I WRITE THEM WITHOUT A ONCE OVER BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE COMING UP WITH SOMETHING THEN RE-READING IT RIGHT AFTER AND HATING IT. SO I JUST POST IT SO THERE IS NO GOING BACK. GOT IT?!?!

I woke up with a pain in my neck and an uneasy feeling in my stomach. At first I thought it was a feeling that I had to throw up, but I never had to. I ate breakfast perfectly fine with Kim's family then met a few more of Kim's old friends before I was ready to leave. I was going to New York, this was going to be fun. I heard lots about this place, it seems to be the place where all the power comes from in this world. All the magic comes from there.

I had packed up all of my things and gave her family all hugs before getting onto the Pegasus' back. I took in a deep breath and held onto Bullet but something made me stop.

I looked up and saw another Pegasus coming down to the ground and I was surprised. Who was that? I waited until they landed and grew more confused as he came running towards me.

"Jess!" He said with fear and he was out of breath, "thank god you are alright!"

"What's wrong?" I was kind of mad that he was here though I did want to know the reason why. This was supposed to be my time to explore the world and I really didn't want any interruptions. Even if it was Logan.

"You need to come back to the castle immediately!" He said hurriedly before running back over to his flying horse and motioning for me to follow him into the air.

What is going on?

We made our way back as fast as those horses could fly and landed together. He was beside me in a matter of seconds then grabbed my wrist before pulling me into the castle. I was starting to get alarmed as we entered the large room and there was various people situated everywhere.

Logan dragged me to the other side and sat me down. He sat down to my right and to his right was an empty chair then Drew. To my left was Evan and Alex and Emma were sitting other people down in their proper chairs. Once everyone was sitting Alex yelled at them to shut up so we could start.

It got errily quiet and I was very scared because this must be serious. Kim wasn't even here! Where could she be anyways? I guess its not that importanat if she isn't in the room. But maybe it involves her since they went as far as coming to get me while I was already busy with something thye forced me to do.

I mean, I was only gone for a day and a half!

"I'll get right to it," Alex said, anger clear into her voice. "Kim was kidnapped last night."

There were a few murmers and she looked straight at me, "normally the next dragon rider would be in charge around here, but since you are still in training and your dragon is not full size for another three weeks, that makes Drew in charge."

Drew stood up and went to the middle of the room with her, "we will send out investigators at once to search for some reminince of her location. But do not advance for these people are very dangerous becasue it takes a lot to kidnap Kim."

I heard Even let out a snort and all heads turn to him, "let's be honest, Kim is easily distracted. It wouldn't take much to kidnap her. Just some food."

Everyone looked around at each other and nodded their heads in agreement. I stared at the room with wide eyes, were they expecting something like this might actually happen one day?

"Nevertheless, we will still use percautions when searching for her location," Drew snapped at Evan with an angry expression on his face. Though you could see it in his eyes that he knew Evan was right. He looked... ashamed?

Everyone got up and ran around finding different hallways they needed to go into to send out the search parties. Drew came over to Logan, Evan and I. "You two have to get Jessica battle ready. I want her on the front lines when we find Kim's location."

I widened my eyes in fear. Drew was scary when he didn't have Kim around him. I jus thope we can find her soon. She's supposed to help me and she can't do that when she's kidnapped.

Bullet started to pace in front of me, he was obviously worried just as much as everyone else. What if they are trying to get information out of her? What if they are tourtuing her? She could be dying and we wouldn't even know!

I looked to Logan with fear clearn on my face as Drew walked away. Logan looked at me with a bit of terror, "what's wrong?"

"How do we know she's even still alive? She could be dying Logan!" I yelled and stood up ubruptly, "we have to find her now!"

Logan got up and grabbed my arms to try and calm me down, "she's still alive Jessica! Kane would know if anything was wrong with her and so would Drew."

I relaxed a little and I saw Bullet stop pacing. "Where is Kane anyways?"

"He's down on the ground right now just under the castle with Lana and Chloe, he brought them a note with what had happened."

"You're using him as a messanger?" That was really low. He should be out there scouting the sky for her.

"Well, Kim was knocked out so he can't tell where she is. And if people saw him riding around in the sky without Kim then people would loose their minds. Plus, he wanted to not feel useless so this was the next best thing we could do for him." Logan was calm and I wish I could be as calm as him. I was just so worried.

There was a roar that came from outside and Logan went off running towards the door, "He's back!!" I can't believe something like this happened. but for right now, I need to train. Be the best Dragon Rider I can be to rescue her.

"We can do this," I said with determination while looking down at Bullet. He smiled and nodded his head. We can do this.

Sorry about that annoying note at the top but it frustrates me when people point out that there is a word spelt wrong or any other mistakes. I already know about them, I'll just go back later and fix them. Right now, I just write.
