I laughed as I watched Bullet run after Logan. He couldn't quite catch up to Logan just yet because he had short stubby legs. Logan hardly looked like he was trying, he was treating Bullet like a little kid. Well he kinda was a little kid. Only a few days old. Kim was surprised how in such a short time we got along so well. She said that she didn't like Kane at first. Evan said it was becasue she was too stuborn to like him.
Logan finally let Bullet catch up to him when he came and sat beside me. "So do you know how this whole thing works?" Logan asked me while Bullet jumped onto his lap.
"What part?" I looked at him with a confused face.
"The partnership between us," He said slowly. "The follower and the rider."
"Uh," I though for a moment. All Kim had told me was that we worked together. Nothing deeper than that. "No..."
He broke out into a huge smile, "Then I can explain everything to you." I turned more to look at him. He was way to excited to tell me. Way too excited...
"Well, you should know that we are team mates. Its the same with Kim and Drew." I nodded for him to contuinue. He smirked, "And we are meant to be together."
"Whats that supposed to mean?" I asked after he didn't continue.
He raised his eye brow, "We are soul mates, and once we are like fully together, you get a power."
My eyes widened, "Does 'fully together' mean what I think it means?"
He laughed, "Once we get married and concemate it."
"Oh," This was a lot to take in. I get a power? "Does, Kim have a power yet?"
He laughed while shaking his head, "Her and Drew are getting married after Bullet grows to full size. They've been planning it for years now. They wanted to wait for you though."
"Awe, she has a soft side for me," I smiled at him while he laughed at me. Kim does have a hard exterior, but on the inside she is all soft and mushy.
He laughed, "She's only mean when you piss her off."
I rolled my eyes, "Thanks for the advice."
"No problem-o!" He said with a cheery smile. "Now come on, we need to get you to Kim for your first day of training."
Training, sounds weird.
I know that its short. I'm sorry. At least you will have some action in the next chapter :D tell me what you think!!!
