It was now eight and most had left the office, back to their families but Olivia had to stay behind due to her father working overtime. She had finished all the tasks assigned to her and now she sat in the tiny cubicle allotted to her, waiting. Her low-heeled pumps clicking on the immaculate tiles as she gave into her thoughts about the handsome devil that was approximately fifteen steps away from her, secured in his castle of glass but little did she know that the devil too was engrossed in thoughts about her.

He couldn't concentrate and that irked him to no end, he wanted release from the tension harboring within him so with a resolution made up he grabbed his asphalt tinted jacket from the back of his chair before storming out his office. He soon found himself standing in front of Olivia's desk, a rare smile making its way up to his face as he found Olivia's comparatively small frame asleep and across the table with a few papers and pens scattered around her. With that, Alexander concluded that she was indeed the most adorable creature he had ever set his eyes on. He didn't like displaying his emotions but the small smile that began spreading across his face, even he couldn't stop. Nothing mattered at this moment, not their age difference that he had been contemplating over for the last two weeks nor the difference in their class, he wanted her and that was that.

Olivia could feel his intense gaze on her but continued to pretend to be asleep; knowing he was watching made her feel somehow special, like a precious gem and she couldn't get enough. Her heart began thudding rapidly as she felt his calloused, warm fingers caress the base of the exposed skin on her throat. She almost moaned with pleasure! How could he do this to her, with the slightest of his touch she was ready to surrender.

"Come," he whispered in her ear before straightening his posture and strolled ahead; Olivia scrambled out of her seat instantly, forgetting about her supposed post-sleep disposition and hurrying to catch up with powerful strides. God, she felt like a fool!

Exiting the building through the colossal, clear, glass doors she found Alexander's brooding frame casually resting against his signature, jet-black BMW. He always seemed so delved into his thoughts Olivia noted as she climbed into the passenger seat before he rounded the car and took his place in the driver's station. The gentle purr of the car's engine was all that could be heard between the two; the usual tranquility of silence had somehow morphed into an ugly shade of angst for Olivia. She was going crazy going over all of the possibilities after they arrived wherever they were going. Where were they even going?

when suddenly realization hit her like a ton of bricks. "My Father!" she gasped out. Had he still been waiting for her at the office but he got dismissed from his duties at six and she left with Alexander at eight; how could she be so reckless.

"Everything has been sorted; I've told your father you'll be staying late to fulfill the entirety of your work," he stated nonchalantly, eyes never leaving the road.

"Where are we going?" she inquired in a weak voice after a few more minutes of the agonizing silence; she couldn't believe it, the way she just gave into her temptations and followed this enigma of a man into his car without any knowledge of where they were headed. For all she knew, he was taking her to a deep, gloomy forest in order to murder her ruthlessly.

"My penthouse," was his simple answer before the deafening silence engulfed them once more. Olivia couldn't help but close her eyes as the gentle purring of the car pulled her into a dark abyss of nothingness
