Deep within the Realm of Void a large onslaught filled the dark scenery as Demon corpses littering the landscape with Indeem at the centre, his robes torn and blooded with his Soulblade flickering it's pulse and humming echo around the blade. With the last of the foul creatures slain the same dark voice rang out towards him.
"So, you've fought off my little pets. I guess you're worth more credit then the lesser beings that tried before you." it spoke before a dark smog appeared then proceeding to morphing into a tall middle aged man dressed in formal Noble attire clapping half impressively.
"What is your name, so that I might engrave it on my trophy stone. Oh how I missed the thrill of somebody else's suffering." he continued as placed his arms behind his back.
"Why know my name, when you know what awaits?" Indeem questioned the Prince as he struggled to stay on his feet from combat fatigue.
"It's accustom of course, two men of our stature should know one others name before duelling no? If it eases you I'll introduce myself first." the Prince stated as he bowed continuing his piece, "My name is Gregorio Lunarsky, Demonic Dragon Prince of the world."
Indeem seeming unimpressed by the egotistic attitude of the Prince regained his footing, shortly follow with the raising his Soulblade pointing it at Lunarsky before stating his name. "My name is Indeem Feestar, loyal servant of the Empire and destroyer of power." The Prince only burst into laughter of amusement before drawing his Demonic sword from the void around him.
"Very well Feestar, let us begin." the Prince followed up the drawing of his sword before dashing towards Indeem almost instantly as the two blades clashed proceeding into a flurry of clashing blows, with one of the pair only able to land minor hits every few swings.
But it was clear Indeem was at a disadvantage from previously fighting for who knew how long against the Demonic minions. Suddenly it happened, the Demonic blade of the Prince drove into Indeem's gut before ripping out a river of blood as his body fell to the ground like nothing dropping his Soulblade.
"Hmm, pathetic." the Prince uttered before picking up the item the Empress gave Indeem activating a portal, "Ah, at last I can claim what is rightfully mine" the Prince said in high confidence proceeding towards the portal.
With the portal closing the lifeless bodied Indeem became surrounded by claws emitting out of the ground dragging him into the endless void. 'I.... have failed' ran through his mind closing his eyes but a unknown voice entered his mind, but it sounded familiar.
'My son, do not lose hope' the voice was followed by a bright angelic figure of a woman, her robes bright gold with the same colour hair as his. 'The lives of many depend on you, I ask you my son. Embrace the power held within the mark upon your forehead' being her last words as she faded away.
"In order to defeat the unbeatable power, I must disregard my vow and embrace my own?" he thought reopening his eyes they and the brand-mark scar let out a purging dark light in the realm of void tearing a portal out. Reappearing from it he was reborn, getting up from the ground Indeem looked over himself.
His hands were now baring dragon claws and scales, a pair of wings wrapped around him like a robe in the shape of a demon and horns both dragon and demon formed a crown around his head starting at his temples. Swiftly running into flight Indeem tailed after Lunarsky slicing through the air like it was nothing, this attracting the attention of people who could see it.
The city was now in chaos as Lunarsky and his Demonic minions flooded the city, citizens fleeing to the safety of the palace as Guards and Mages met to combat the threat. "Bow down to your true ruler!" Lunarsky laughed madly taking pleasure from the screams, his laughter cutting short from a massive Dark Green lightning storm struck down the Demons followed by a Demonic Dragons roar, all eyes turned to the city gates for atop the structure stood Indeem.
"So you survived, no matter least I can slay you fully in the eyes of those you hold dear." Lunarsky cockily stated as the two engaged in aerial combat corkscrewing as they dealt both magic and weapon attacks. The crowd grew in number, eventually the Empress herself dressed in armour wielding a sword and shield arrived to observe the commotion.
"Indeem!" she shouted at the top of her voice only now realising who it was up there. The fight in the sky grew ever more aggressive, where as in the Real of Void Lunarsky had the advantage the table turned in Indeems favour.
"Why won't you just DIE!" Lunarsky yelled as he hurled a bolt of chaos energy towards Indeem causing him to take a swift dive, pulling up at the last moment he began to spin fast as a tornado hurling himself head first into Lunarsky as the clash let out a thundering sound. "Hah! You fool!" Lunarsky followed up blasting Indeem point blank sending him hurtling towards the ground landing with a crushing thud creating a dust cloud around an ever growing circle crater.
"Indeem! Indeem are you okay?!" the Empress yelled running to his side discarding her weapons, no reply came from him as he lied dormant in the crater before his eyes flickered.
"Mel...ina, I failed. For...give me." he uttered before his eyes closed again, the Empress holding onto him crying.
"Hah, what kind of Warlock is he to fall so easily." Lunarsky cackled claiming dominance above, reopening his eyes his dominant persona faded into that of confusion at what he was witnessing. The Mages, Guards and citizens tears flowed towards Indeem for they had never seen such an unselfish person in their lives, the more sparkling tears that drew near to Indeem and the Empress she leaned in closer.
"You can do it my love, we all believe in you. So please don't die!" she whispered before being taken off guard as the mark on Indeem's forehead glowed almost blindingly letting out a flash as the Moon laid overhead, as the flash ended Indeem knelt his wings reopening prior to standing up. "Indeem, you're...."
"I am eternal in service." he said before making his fingers and wings meet focusing his mind formulating a Dark Green orb of energy that began to build.
"Impossible! This time I'll destroy you and no one will save you!" Lunarsky lashed out in anger as he charged towards Indeem, he was intercepted by the Mages and Guards firing Muskets and hurling spells at the Demonic Dragon Prince. A minute later Indeem had finished his build up lowering his wings and one of his hands holding the pulsating orb of magical power in his palm.
"Vanquish in suffering." being his words as he flung the orb towards Lunarsky at break neck speed blinking three times upon impact followed by a mass blinding explosion in a orb, smoke of the blast clouded the figure as agonising yells faded into nothing. With the smoke cleared the figure known as Lunarsky was gone.
The citizens and Guards cheered over their victory of the Demonic forces, the Mages broke the silence looking at Indeem as the Empress places her hand on his cheek.
"Indeem? You're...."
"Monster." he said turning gaze away. She turned his gaze back with her hand whilst baring her usual smile.
"That doesn't matter to me, I have and will always love you. Just don't leave me like that again." her words trying their hardest to hold back tears of joy.
"If that is what you wish." being his response and for the first time in his life a small smile brook on his face as the two hugged exchanging a kiss.
