"Moooooooomm!" Keith shifted, hearing a child's voice. It was no use; he was already awake. "Mooooooooooom!" The kid called again, this time at a higher frequency. Keith blinked, looking up to see a young child, a practical carbon copy of Lance with chubby cheeks and a front tooth missing.

"Matías, Mom just went to work. She's not home." Lance called from the kitchen.

"There's a boy in your bed!"

"Yes, there is! And his name is Keith, and he's probably really tired, so leave him alone!"

Matías did the opposite, sticking his face close to Keith's.

"Are you Lance's esposo?"

Keith blinked.

"No."

"Oh. Why're you in his bed?"

"Well, we had a sleepover."

Matías's eyes widened. "A sleepover? Did you guys watch television and tell stories and eat junk food?!"

"We did."

Matías smiled even bigger. "Woah! Can I be invited next time?"

"Sure. You can be invited."

"Yay!" the boy jumped up and down, "Hey, if you aren't Lance's esposo, do you want to be mine?"

Keith paused, not really sure how to accept a proposal from a five-year-old. "Sure."

"Yay!" Matías paraded to the doorway, shouting. "Me and Keith are getting married!"

Lance appeared in the doorway, with a pan and spatula in his hands. "Would you leave him alone?" he said, looking down at the boy. Then Lance looked up at Keith, a different expression taking over his face, before turning red and laughing really hard.

Keith froze.

Oh, no.

His hair.
Keith's mane was ruled "#1 worst bedhead" according to Allura and Shiro.

His hands shot up to his hair, attempting to comb it down.

"¿Su pelo es muy comico, no?" His hair is very funny, huh? he leaned down to Matías, scrunching up his nose.

"¡Si! ¡Él es un leon!" Yes! He's a lion!

Lance laughed before responding, "Vienes a comer, hermancito. ¿Dónde está Señor Elefante?" Come eat, little brother. Where is Señor Elefante?
Matías giggled. "¡Está a la mesa!"
At the table.
"Sí, sí. ¿Vas a la mesa, vale?" Yes, yes. Go to the table, okay?

"¡Vale!" Okay! The little boy laughed, scurrying out of the room.

Lance's gaze shifted to Keith, who was dazed-and slightly red-by the quick Spanish Lance had spoken.

"Hey, there, crazy-top."

"Is that what you were talking about?" Keith said with hostility, turning red.
