Lance shot out of bed as soon as he opened his eyes.
That was partially Keith's fault, as he was being a bed hog, and Lance all but fell.
But that didn't change the fact that Lance was excited.

The #1 Hyped Event in The High School Career™ was today.

And while he did feel the subsequent dread, he pushed it out of the other way.
He was going to prom.
With his boyfriend.
Excitement spread through his limbs, the tingling electricity stopping and humming in his fingers.

He strolled into the bathroom, practicing his Handsome Grin™ and Finger Guns™ for a good measure before exfoliating his face.

He turned up some throwbacks, including everything Fergie, old Beyoncé hits, and five-year-old Justin Bieber songs.

"Baby it's you!
You're the one I love!
You're the one I need!
You're the only one see!
C'mon, baby it's you!"
Lance was cut off by an equally stunning voice, finishing his chorus.

"You're the one who gives your all!
You're the one I can always call!
When I need to make everything stop
Finally you put my love on top!"

Lance stared at his boyfriend in awe, temporarily stunned by the amount of soul that Keith could put in his voice.
He was beautiful.
Keith put down his brush, laughing lightly.
The grin turned hugely goofy and in love.
