It was rare that Keith woke up before Lance. He'd heard him crying, again.
He leaned up on his elbow, staring intently at the boy.
Lance was very pretty.
It was undeniable that Lance was a pretty boy.Keith was sure he'd insulted him like that once or twice.
His skin was a darker shade and incredibly clear and smooth. Lance took extreme precaution to make sure it was that way every day.
He had thick, gorgeous, eyelashes, which Keith found incredibly unfair. His hair was growing, he needed a trim.
His nose was small and cute, and Keith took the liberty of placing a kiss there.
Lance's jawline was sharp enough to grate cheese and Keith found this, too, to be incredibly unfair. And don't even get him started on the Cuban boy's eyes.
They were a deep blue that seemed to be imitating the ocean, and captivating, and beautiful and open.
Lance looked up at him with a tired smile, eyelids still stuck with sleep.
"Whatcha lookin at, huh?"Keith lived for Lance's tired voice.
"Oh, just the most handsome boy in the world."
Lance scoffed, unfazed. How? That line would've had Keith red in a second, none more. "Huh. I don't see a mirror.""Oh, you."
"Oh, me, indeed."
Keith sighed.
He knew Lance didn't want to talk about it, so he didn't.
"So I was thinking of getting my ear pierced." Lance folded his hands on his stomach, flat on his back, staring up at his ceiling."Oh, yeah? Just one?" Keith set his cheek against his fist, still propped up on his elbow.
"Yeah. I feel like I'd look a little bit like a douche bag, but overall pretty neato, don't you think?"
"Yeah." Keith chuckled lightly, "pretty neato."Did Lance just seriously use "neato" unironically?
Lance offered another dopey grin, his voice still scratchy as he said, "You're precious, mullet boy."
Cute.
Oh, God, Lance was so adorable. So he leaned down and pressed a kiss to Lance's lips, pressing their chests together. Lance pulled him closer until Keith was practically laying on top of him.
Kissing Lance was nice.
Keith could do it all day.Lance folded his hands politely on Keith's lower back, and Keith was gripping Lance's shirt gently.
Kissing Lance was really nice.
He pulled away briefly, to catch a breath, and almost smiled at the fact that Lance's lips followed his a little."We have to get up for school."
Lance made a sour expression before rubbing circles into his back. "Or we could not do that, and keep kissing instead?"Keith was a sucker for tired Lance, so he leaned in and kissed him again.
Lance's fingers danced at the hem of his shirt, before running over the skin right above the waistband of his boxers. He inhaled sharply, making Lance smile against his lips.Padding footsteps brought them back to the reality that, yes, they were still in a house full of many children, as Nicolás and Matías came bounding in the room.
"We have a-"
"Snow day!" Matí cut the older boy off.
Both boys blinked at their position before Nicolás muttered, grabbing Matí's shoulders, "...um, maybe we should-"
"No, no," Keith pulled himself from Lance, sitting back on his knees.
He held his arms out for the smaller boy.Matí flew into his arms, and Lance sighed, retracting his legs. He held his arms out for Nicolás, looking hopeful.
He just narrowed his eyes uncomfortably before settling in Lance's spinny chair.
Lance sank, defeated.
Keith thought it was funny.Matías sat in Keith's lap, and they were all discussing their plans for the day.
"I don't know I-" Lance's phone started to buzz.
"According to all known laws of aviation-"
Lance grinned, fishing his phone out. "Pidge."
Of course, they would have that ringtone.
