Ashley's POV:
"Damn." I say, looking at the hotel in front of me. It's extremely nice, with a fountain in the courtyard, a diner on the inside, and grand staircases leading up from the lobby.
"You sure this isn't a mansion?" I joke. Mitch chuckles.
"It is pretty nice, huh? I like it." he says. After I check in, we walk over to the elevator and get in.
"Is Adam and Jerome staying here as well?" I ask. They usually traveled together.
"Yeah, but only Jerome is actually at the hotel right now. Adam and Alesa went somewhere, and who knows when he'll be back." Mitch says. I smile. Knowing Adam, he would probably call us up an hour later, claiming he found a new place for us to discover. Or should I say them. I realize with a sad smile that those times are over, and I'm not part of their group anymore. I quickly hide the smile, knowing Mitch will probably notice if I didn't. It got annoying, but it was one of the reasons liked him. And why it hurt so much knowing I couldn't have him.
"Here's your room, m'lady." Mitch says, bowing slightly and gesturing to my hotel room with both arms. I laugh, and place the key into the door, opening it.
"Where are you staying?" I ask, feeling the cool breeze of the room as I open the door.
"There." Mitch says, pointing to a room two doors down. "And Adam and Alesa are across." I nod.
"So if you need anything, you'll know where to find us." he says, backing away slowly to his room.
"Thanks." I say. I wait until he turns around before hurrying into y room and closing the door behind me. I lean against the door and put my suitcase next to me. I feel a sharp pain in my stomach region, and i crumple to the ground and start crying. I'm not sure what I'm crying over, but I feel like it's the pain I have when he leaves me. It feels so good to be with him, but painful at the same time. I get up, feeling tears still stream down my cheek, and punch a pillow. Why was I so weak all of a sudden? I was usually great at keeping my feelings trapped inside, what happened? I go tot the bathroom to pee, and when I go to flush the toilet, I see blood along with it.
"Well that's just fucking fantastic! Like I really needed my period right about now!" I exclaim, flushing and storming out of the room to get my necessities. As if mental pain wasn't already enough, now I was in physical pain too. Just fuck everything.
Mitch's POV:
Although I still thought there was something wrong with Ashley, I let it go.
She probably just had jet lag and was tired. Or maybe she was on her period. Either way, I decided to forget about it. She probably didn't want me knowing about it anyway. Even still, I knew I had a strange expression on my face when I walked back into Jerome and I's hotel room. He looked up when i opened the door before going back on his phone.
"Ashley here now?" he asks.
"Yeah." My voice sounds hollow, and he looks up as I sit down on one of the twin beds to go on my phone.
"You ok, G?" I look up at him for a second, debating whether or not to tell him, but I decide I better not. He would just laugh too.
"Fine." I say, sprawling out on the bed behind me.
But is she?
