Ashley's POV
I walk into Minecon with Mitch, Jerome and Adam, and naturally, we're immediately swarmed by fans.
Or at least, they are.
I try to stand back, but I'm surprised to see a few people approach me, eyes glowing and full of joy. A genuine smile crosses my face.
"Ashley! Can I have a picture?" one girl says.
"Sure." I say, bending down to take it. Once she pulls away, I give her a hug and someone else comes to do the same.
About 20 minutes later, we finally get through everyone and into the actual convention. I meet fans on the way, and my mood brightens with each smile they flash my way.
When we get to the Gunnar stand, Alesa and I break off from the group as Adam, Jerome and Mitch go to say hello.
"I love being here. Don't you?" Alesa says, smiling at me. I smile back, a real smile, and nod.
"No matter how many I've been to, the feeling I get from them just never fades." I say, surprised to hear the truth in my statement. No matter how awful I feel, my fans never fail to give me a good feeling.
Alesa smiles again and locks her arm with mine.
"I know what you mean."
And with that, the two of us head off to explore the convention, arm and arm.

Three hours later, I get really tired and have to go to the bathroom. I just finished up a panel that I was put on last-minute with Mitch and Jordan for Polaris. They got most of the questions, and I basically sat there for most of the time.
Once I finish taking care of my business, I look around to make sure I'm alone, and open my bottle of pills. I pop one in my mouth and take out my water to wash it down. I fix my hair and walk out, sipping as I go.
I see Alesa and the guys waiting over by a cafe, and pick up my pace a little to head over. I sneak up behind Alesa and grab her shoulders, successfully scaring her by making her jump, leaving me cackling as well as the others.
"Why hello Ashley." she greets me. I sit down beside her.
"Hey. Are you guys getting anything?" I ask, noting they had no food nor beverages, save for a couple bottles of water.
"Nah, line's too long." Mitch answers, gesturing over to a line so big, you could barely even see the cafe. I just nod in response.
"Well I'm thirsty-"
"That's what she said." Adam quietly interjects two seats away from me. I roll my eyes at him playfully.
"-so I'm going to chance the vending machines." I finish, getting up. I start to walk over, when suddenly something flies into me, knocking me backwards.

So, I'm going to AT LEAST finish this story. I'm so sorry for the long period of nothing, and I'm extremely thankful for those of you who will or are reading this right now XD
And this time isn't an empty promise, I actually have the chapters written already, so you can expect those ;)
As for, More Than Friends, I have the ending written for that, but I'll let you know in the future what I plan to do with it. For now, I'm focusing on this one.
