Only know you love her when you let her go

Love birds

After getting her skates all ready, Adrian and Brook started to walked to the rink.

"Adrian, I don't really know how to skate well" Brook said a little embarrassed

"It's fine" he smiled "I can teach you"

Brook smiled, she loved how sweet he was most guys she knew were cocky jocks.

After they got on the ice Brook held on to the the edge of the wall.

"Come on Brook, let go of the wall it's okay" Adrian told her

"I'm to afraid" she answered

"Here" Adrian reached his Hand out "hold my hand I promise it will help you"

Brook took her left hand off the wall and reached for his hand.

Their hands touched, his was cold but it felt right. In the moment it was like sparks flew; fireworks appeared. All they could do was stop and stare at each other.

"Excuse me!" Someone called

The moment faded.

"Can you two love birds move I'm trying to skate" some little boy wearing a hockey helmet around age ten yelled at them.

Adrian and Brook laughed. They both let the boy through.

Adrian turned and looked Brook in the eyes. She was so beautiful to him, he could tell she was shy and he found it so cute.

"So, I guess we are love birds than" he joked

Brook smiled "I guess we are" she joked back slightly wishing it were true

Brook and Adrian began to skate together, Brook wobbling around and shaking as Adrian held on to her tightly.

Brooks legs gave out for a second and she slipped; She began to fall.

In seconds she found herself in Adrain's arms. He had caught her before she fell.

Brook looked in his eyes for a minute she was going to say something, but the words didn't come out.

Adrian looked down at her, she looked helplessly in love. At that very second the time stopped; everyone disappeared. It was like it was just the two of them, she felt safe, he felt comfortable.

Their lips locked.

The kiss lasted for about 10 seconds.

The alarm to sound that the zamboni was ready to clean the ice went off. All skaters including them exited off the ice and sat in the benches until it was done.
