Adrian's mom just laughed it off "thanks though I wish I was still young!" Brook smiled at her and nodded her head.
As Brook and Adrian's mother entered the dining room Adrian smiled "Brook hey!" He said smiling big, she walked toward him smiling "hey" they hugged.
Adrian pulled out a chair and motioned Brook to sit down, after she sat in it he tucked the chair closer to the table. "I hope you don't mind all the healthy food!" Adrian's mother laughed, Brook smiled and told her she didn't mind.

They all sat at the dinner table talking and laughing together eating garden salad with herb-stuffed Turkey breast and a glass of water for refreshment.
"So, Brook I hear you're moving at the end of summer, where are you going?" Adrian's mother which Brook has learned her name is Jenna asked. Brook put her fork down and looked down at the floor, she quickly took a drink of water and wiped her mouth with her hand. "um I'm not really sure actually, my mom wants to move to New York but my dad wants a more smaller city that's not too noisy" she picked her fork up again and stabbed at the piece of meat.
Adrian cleared his throat which caused Brook to look up at him, she could tell he was upset that she was moving and so was she but she felt more sorry for him. he had a sad look in his eyes but he still managed to look so adorable.

After they had finished dinner Jenna told them that they didn't have to help clear the table but Brook decided to help anyways.
"Brook you are so sweet to help after I said you didn't have too!" Jenna said with excitement and thankfulness "Adrian could learn a thing or too from you" she laughed Adrian rolled his eyes which made Brook giggle "I do a lot of stuff what are you talking about!" He yelled to his mom. Jenna emptied the left over food into the compost bin "sweetie it's just a joke" she said nicely Adrian turned to walk away "yeah whatever just cause I didn't offer" he mumbled off to his room. Brook felt awkward after seeing Adrian yell she didn't know weather to continue helping his mom, or run after him. Jenna told Brook she didn't need anymore help and thanked her for what she had already done so Brook went after Adrian to his room.

Brook knocked on the door before opening it, she saw Adrian laying on his bed looking at the ceiling , he looked kind of mad and upset not one or the other just a mix of both. she started to walk towards him "Adrian I.." She didn't finish her sentence she just laid down next to him. They both lay there silent staring at the ceiling together until Brook began again, "Adrian I know something bothering you, I know you're not mad at your mom" she took her hand and started to play with his soft brown hair, Adrian didn't answer her so she sat up to see his face. At that moment Brook felt so upset at what she saw, she didn't know what to say or do she hadn't seen him like this before and seeing it now broke her heart. Adrian had tears running down his face, his eyes red and watery, Brook hugged him making him cry more. "I .. Just don't-tt know what to do" he cried "I lost my dad and now I'm about to loose you soon!" He let go of her hug and wiped the wet tears off his face, at this point Brook began to cry too. Adrian sat up next to her "why are you crying?" He asked, Brook looked him in the eyes, " I don't want to make you upset, I don't want to loose you either!" Adrian took her hand and kissed it "Brook, please don't cry" he said and his voice cracked with sadness "I don't want to see you sad it breaks my heart" she cried and Adrian stood up grabbing Brooks hands helping her up with him. He let go of one of her hands twirling her with the one that still joined together with hers as he admired her, he saw her smile to herself as he did so. he began hugging her swaying back and forth, he wiped her tears away with his soft hands and spoke " no matter where you go I will never leave you Brooklyn White, you are the reason for my smile, when I met you in the arcade and we danced I knew I wanted to be with you every second of the day" he stopped swaying and looked her deeply in her eyes now Brook started to tear up " Adrian that's the sweetest thing someone has ever told me" He smiled knowing that he made her happy, which made him happy. He held her tight looking down at her beautiful figure and kissed her forehead with his soft natural pink lips.

After Adrian and Brook had their small moment they began to play on Adrian's X-box laughing together while playing Fifa stopping now at then to kiss each other making them both blush.
Hours past and it was getting late, after 11:00 came They went down to the living room to say goodbye. "Thank you so much for dinner Jenna it was amazing, I'm so glad to meet you" Brook told her smiling and hugging his mother goodbye. "Oh thanks so much for coming Brook, I'm glad you liked it I hope to see you again" Jenna told her and after that Adrian and Brook left to walk home to Brooks house.

They walked along the edge of the road holding hands, they didn't say much to each other, but now and then they would say something little but not much. They didn't say much not because they didn't know what to say, but because they both knew that this would soon be a memory and they wanted this moment to last long, talking would ruin the moment and make the walk seem faster and they both wanted to feel like their time together was forever.
After they reached Brooks house Adrian kissed her cheek and said goodbye hugging her tight, he watched her walk up her cobble stone path way and into her small cozy house. He continued his walk home by himself.
Instead of going straight home though, he went to the meadow that they had called 'their own secret place' it was dark but summer time made it brighter than it would be in any other season so he could still see where he was going. Adrian laid down in the tall grass looking up,at the sky wishing Brook was there with him, he closed his eyes and took the cool summer air into his lungs. Adrain took out his phone and called Brook, after 3 rings she answered. "My darling!" He said happily "Adrian?" Brook spoked softly and sleepily "I'm sorry if this woke you up, but I am laying in our secret place right now and I thought of you" He told her causing her to smile "I wish I was there" she sighed "so do I Brook. I'm looking up at the stars right now do me a favour and look out your window and the stars with me" he said to her
and she did, she got up from her bed and went to her window and looked up at the stars "I'm looking" she answered "look how they shine for you Brook" and they both sat there in silence starring at the stars together, but not really.
