This man was strange. His movements made my mind wander. His eyes captivated me as they watched my face intently. How could one hold so much confidence, so much pride, and so much mystery. I gasped when he left my presence, half of the gasp was shock but the other was the loss of his touch.

I quickly made my way to castle. I followed the light beaming from the top of the castle tower. Making my way around the corner I slowly stopped.. There were guards around the castle murmuring things like "the kings daughter was taken by HIM I guess." Or "maybe she's running away from her marriage."

I shook my head and continued walking, and hid sometimes because I got to close the the guards. I soon found the way I used to get down from my window and climbed back up. I was almost at the top when I misplaced my foot. I screamed as I held tight to the ledge. "Don't look down, don't look down!" I said trying to calm myself, but as if it were human instinct I looked down anyway..

I felt a tear slide down my cheek.. "I don't want to die.."

I struggled to hold on, my fingers slipping.. I had finally realized it was time to face it, the fact that I would die.. I squeezed my eyes shut and let go. The wind ran through my hair, and I laughed. I laughed? Oh yes I laughed. The thought of finally being free like the wind rushing through the sky. I landed. A thump in the night. Most guards would've thought it was the locksmith around back, locking up his shop.

But I realized something. I wasn't hurt. My body didn't ache from crushed bones, but instead it clung tightly to someone. Someone who had saved me from my fall. I didn't even realize I was crying until the person wiped a tear from my cheek.

"I'm always saving you aren't I?" The voice all too familiar. I nodded my head against his chest, unable to speak. "Thank you for your kind actions, Peter." I said standing up. "But how did you find me? Did you follow me?" He laughed and shook his head. "Nope, I only hear your screams! Surprised the guards didn't."

I nodded and turned back towards the wall I had to climb..

"Let me sneak you in.." He said grabbing my arm and held it tight. "I know my ways around this place."

I didn't reject because, honestly, I didn't want to climb that wall ever again. He pulled me into a secret door at the back of the castle. I would've never even noticed it was there. He looked back and smiled, and I smiled back. He let go of me. "Come" he said waving his hand.

The tunnel we crept through was long and narrow. Not even my tiny frame could stand beside his inside of it. The water pitter pattered as we reached a small torch at the end. He slowly opened the door and peaked his head through. He turned and nodded, signaling the coast was clear. He walked me to my room and stopped outside my door.

"Thank you. You are too kind.." I hugged him. That's something a princess ever does. It shows affection to another man, and that simply cannot happen, but I didn't care. It took him a minute to realize what was going on, but he hugged back. "It was nothing." He said rubbing the back of his head.

"Nothing?" I laughed "you saved my life.."

He stepped closer. "Ill be back." And before I could answer he was gone again.. I sighed and opened up my bedroom doors to see William sitting on my bed.. He quickly stood up and made his way towards me, with anger on his face.

"So you went out?" He backed me into a corner and I whimpered.. "You're traitor.. You've been out.."

"How dies that make me a traitor!?" I yelled in his face. He clutched my wrists and brought them above my head..

"Because you were out with HIM"
