Two delicate, beautiful young girls of seventeen tiptoed down a hallway in Bellmore Palace.

"Lana? Do you see anything? Is Mom close?" asked Melissa, her dark brown eyes wide.

The dark brown haired girl giggled, "I don't think so. If we ride out into the village, in our peasant clothes, they won't suspect a thing, and they won't have time to find us till after the party."

"Good plan, sister! So shall we make a run for it?" questioned Princess Melissa, her brown eyes sparkling with excitement.

Shaylana squinted her hazel eyes, looking into the distance of the hallway. "Yes, the door is straight ahead, but, we do have to pass the kitchen. Careful Mel, if we get caught, we have to go and dance with who knows what men."

"Good point, sis. So now we..." Melissa was interrupted by a voice behind them.

"Girls! What on earth are you doing snooping around the palace in this un-ladylike manner?! I have been searching for you two for the past two hours! We are going to be very late for this ball because of you two! Now come with me at ONCE." screamed the Queen, obviously very displeased with her twin daughters. The two princesses had no choice but to follow their mother to get changed.
