I'm open to suggestions and such! so please enjoy! Baaaaaiiiiii! ))
"Luhan... There's no easy way to tell you this but... We're moving." My mother said quietly to me from the seat across from me. She was sitting next to my father and was holding my hand in hers, gently stroking the back of my hand with her thumb to comfort me. I stayed silent for a while.
"Luhan?" She asked, urging me to reply. I was only thirteen. I didn't know how to react. My gaze drifted away from my moms eyes down to the floor.
"Where are we going?" I asked. I expected it to just be a few cities over, but nothing too drastic.
"Seoul, South Korea.." My mom replied slowly, her foot tapping the ground nervously.
I immediately snapped back up, looking at my parents with wide brown eyes. "SOUTH KOREA?!" I nearly yelled at them, my voice cracking in shock. Again, I expected to be moving cities, not countries away! I had lived in China my whole life, did they just expect me to be totally fine with moving so far away? What about my friends? Our family? Our lives?!
"I'm sorry.. But I got a job opportunity and I just cant pass it up.. It will be a new beginning for us." She said, smiling ever so gently at me. "Plus there are many companies in Seoul, and I've heard you sing.. I'm sure with enough practice you'll get scouted!" She said optimistically.
I merely shook my head. By now, hot tears were stinging at my eyes and threatened to fall. I looked back at the ground. The floor I would never see again. My eyes closed and a few tears escaped my eyes, trailing down my cheeks and onto the hard wood floor, making a small dripping sound. Without another word, I stood up, and walked away to my room.
That was four years ago.
I suppose my mom was right about the whole "new beginnings" thing, considering my family became happier since the move. Well, except for me. Firstly, I had a hard time learning Korean. Not to mention I had to leave my whole life behind for Seoul. New friends. New language. New Luhan.
Even though I didn't want to leave China, coming to South Korea was a great idea. My mom encouraged me to pursue my dreams of singing and dancing, which were the only things that made me happy. I spent most of my first few months in Korea practicing popular Korean songs and dances; which also helped me improve my Korean speech abilities.
One of the best days of my life was when I was scouted by SM town and became an SM trainee. After that came a lot of practicing and training. It was hard, but I really wanted to do this. The other eleven boys I was paired with as a rookie became my first and only friends in this new country. Luckily, a few of them were Chinese like me, so I didn't feel like such an outsider. They've been there for me since we were trainees and I couldn't have asked for better friends. They're the main reasons I like Seoul.
School is a different story. I'm actually a pretty smart kid and get generally good grades, but I'd just rather be singing than doing something dumb like algebra; thus, I get distracted easily. Also, no matter where you go there will always be bullies. Let's just say, dancing doesn't exactly make you a popular jock. In fact, the jocks think its hilarious. Girls would also rather hang out with the football players than someone who "sings like a girl" and "prances around like a deer"...
But that doesn't really bother me. They'll regret making fun of me when me and my group debut and become famous right?
Well, besides that.. I'd just like for something interesting to happen..
(( A/N well what'd you think? I hope it doesn't suck its just kind of a prologue but whatever. I really hope yall liked it. if you did ill upsate soon! X3 ))
