❇❇❇THE RUN IN❇❇❇
Ding!
The elevator doors opened to reveal a whole floor of people vigorously typing away or talking on their telephones.
"Well kids, we are now on the fourth floor. Everyone on this floor deals with promo. They are instructed to phone potential investors and tell them more about Wolfe Enterprises. If they manage to get convince a client to use our services, they get a raise." Katrina said.
"Is this like phase one of working here?" Jace asked her.
"I supposed you could call it that. Promotions can happen anywhere and at anytime." She ended off.
"Did you start in promo?" Vince asked.
"No, I immediately became supervisor of this floor. See that door over there-" She gestured at a black door with the sign, Katrina Day- Supervisor, on it in white letters.
"Were you favoured?" Ella asked.
Katrina was a bit taken aback by the question, but answered it anyway. She realised that it was truly an innocent question yet she still felt offended.
"Well, my father worked in close relations with this company. The previous owner of this company, Alexander Wolfe, offered me this job."
"Did you have any experience before this?" Poppy asked while fixing her glasses.
"Kids, let's not hound Mrs Katrina." Mr James said after seeing the annoyed look on her face.
"We're done with this floor. Let's go to the next." She quickly stated, almost through gritted teeth. And with that, the entourage followed her into the elevator, amused by how easy she gets annoyed.

"Sir, your mother's meeting is in twenty minutes. She's wandering around the company, she may stop at your floor." Olivia spoke through the intercom to a stressed Victor.
"Tell her to wait for me at the bottom floor, I'll be there in ten minutes." He replied.
"Okay, sir. Will you be back in time for the children's tour? Meeting you was on their agenda." She asked.
"No. I don't care about meeting stupid kids. I already gave three of them scholarship forms." He hissed.
"Okay, sir." Olive replied in her signature robotic voice.

"This is our assistance floor. People come here if they have any queries that they'd like to personally resolve." Katrina said.
Ella was bored, her day here started off heart- wrenching. Not getting a scholarship just took the excitement out of the trip.
"Is the boss here?" Jace asked.
"Off topic, but no, he's not. We won't be meeting him today." She stated.
That did it for Ella. She was determined to make the most of her trip. The boss wasn't even here, she wouldn't even go to the Wolfe School of Business due to her lack of funds, this whole trip has just gone downhill.
